I have tried to support this business in the past because they offer halal options, but after multiple unprofessional experiences, I will never return. This establishment has a complete lack of regard for their customers’ time and basic business operations.
Incident 1: Pick-up Failure & Wrong Order I placed a Grubhub order for an 8:45 PM pickup. When I arrived, the store was empty and locked. The owner called me at 9:05 PM (after closing) stating he was at a party in Pleasanton and couldn’t get back in time. He asked me to drive back a second time at 9:20 PM. When I finally got the food, it was the wrong pizza (ordered Chicken Garlic, received something else). There was no offer of compensation for the two trips or the mistake.
Incident 2: Refusal to Honor Promotions I placed another order via Grubhub using an in-app promotion. The store called and canceled the order, stating they would not honor the coupon. If a business chooses to be on a platform like Grubhub, they need to manage their promotions through the app rather than penalizing the customer. It is not the customer’s job to mediate between the store and the app.
Incident 3: Too Good To Go (TGTG) Gone Wrong Most recently, I drove 15 minutes to collect a “Too Good To Go” order. Upon arrival, the staff claimed they don’t even have a contract with TGTG and sent me away empty-handed. This was humiliating and a complete waste of gas, effort, and time.
Conclusion: This business is consistently unreliable. Between the owner being at a party during business hours, making the wrong food, and failing to manage their digital storefronts, it is clear they do not value their patrons. A simple refund for the app orders does not cover the time and fuel wasted. If you cannot honor your commitments to your customers, you shouldn’t be in business. Pathetic.
The crust is perfectly crispy, the toppings are super fresh, and the halal all-meat pizza is absolutely unreal. Staff is friendly, fast, and the whole place just feels welcoming.
If you want pizza that actually tastes handcrafted and full of flavor, this is THE spot. Don’t sleep on it!
You must try City Pizza & Kabob House and I promise you guys will thank me later. The pizzas are very very good and the King Slice crust is so good I killed it in good time.
The slices are not thin and not thick and a perfect crust with a very flavorful pizza sauce. I actually have to bring my wife and kids here and I’m sure they will love it. Ferouz the person that took my order was very welcoming and friendly and that is what you wanna see when you first walk into a restaurant. Wishing them lots of success.
