Only the top part of the bar was open at 4 pm, no food available. Bartender was rude right off the bat and took a personal phone call while I was waiting for her to make my drink. Just for me to be served a vodka cran in the tiniest plastic cup possible with grass in it. Didn’t give my boyfriend a price on our drinks, which were apparently 8 dollars for beer and single shot mixed drink. Don’t recommend whatsoever.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I was there late afternoon and I visited with two other people.
It took a long time before a server came over to take our order. When I placed my salad order I pointed to the menu and made sure that I was getting exactly what I was ordering. The server verified my order, and after waiting for a period of time after the others food had come out, my food finally arrived to the table. What I thought I was getting was the equivalent to a large garden salad with grilled chicken breast on top; what actually came out was that covered with french fries, shredded cheese, beets, and pickled eggs. I was shocked! I asked the server what it was and told her it wasn’t what I ordered. I showed her the menu and reminded her of me verifying exactly what I was getting. She confirmed that the kitchen staff had messed up the order and took the plate back. Those with me finished their meal and got to watch me eat when my order came out. When it came out it was delicious. Those with me didn’t care for their food.
At one point the cook was out at the bar braiding the hair of another employee. When we got up to leave, my two guests went outside and I headed to the restroom. When I came out of the restroom I heard the employees talking about me. When I walked by they stopped. I told them to go ahead and talk and not to feel uncomfortable with what they were saying because I was leaving.
When we did a Google search for the best restaurants in the area this one came up as #2. The staff was very unprofessional and the service was terrible. I won’t be returning to this restaurant.

Orderd the Friday special, got $1 off burger and fries were 1/2 priced. Food was delicious and plentiful. New bartender Miranda was very friendly and attentive to customers requests. Played pool with friendly stranger there, will come back again.

We were surprised that this bar had smoking and as such they do not allow minors. We had to leave without eating as our son is only 19. Also, they are cash only. Just FYI to anyone else who is not a local.

What a great little place! We were on vacation in the Laurel Highlands and needed somewhere for dinner on a Tuesday night. The bar is very welcoming, clean, and friendly. The tacos and taco pizza were all really good. Fun place!

Stopped by as we arrived in town, almost at closing time. Food options were somewhat limited but everything very good. Smoked ribs Locals were friendly. Outside bar has cool atmosphere. Family friendly. Would definitely return.

This is a classic Allegheny roadhouse. Friendly. Be friendly back. If you are from the city, know that it is customary to say hello. Get wings with DD sauce and beer. Fabulous. Classic country music on the speakers. Just right!
