We had a wonderful meal at Ode to the Elephants. We started with a delicious virgin Mojito and a beer. For an appetizer we had the Crab Rangoon. Our mains were the GPKD and Tofu Pad Thai. The service was fantastic and we were able to see the sunset from our table.

We had an unforgettable dinner at Ode to the Elephants in Rincón. From the moment we walked in, everything felt calm, warm, and peaceful. The soft lighting, the open space, the wooden beams, and the tropical plants made us feel like we were tucked away in a private oasis.

My wife and I ordered the chicken and shrimp drunken noodles and the combination fried rice with chicken and shrimp. Everything was full of flavor, made fresh, and perfectly balanced. The dumplings were soft and juicy, and the shrimp rolls were crispy and light.

What truly made the night special was the kindness of the staff. They didn’t just serve us—they took care of us. The chef even made a special fish sauce with diced chili just for us. That’s the kind of love you feel in this place.

I looked across the table and saw my wife smiling with joy, taking it all in. That moment alone made it worth the visit.

This is not just a restaurant. It’s a hidden treasure where the food, the service, and the atmosphere come together to create something rare.

If you’re ever in Rincón, don’t miss it. One of the best meals we’ve had, on or off the island. We’ll be back, no question.

fantastic thai food on the west side of the island (prefer it over khalan), delicious & consistently good over the past few years, large portions and fresh ingredients.

the service is helpful & friendly, and they speak both english y español.

the design & ambience is peaceful (if not crowded), just don’t forget your big spray, the mosquitoes love hanging out.

My bf and I discovered this place randomly and it was great! Our waiter was nice and attentive, the decor is beautiful with mountainside views & the food was nice and spicy like we like it. We got curry puffs(10/10), drunken noodles & green curry. Green curry was a little thicker like a sauce which im not used to but it was still so flavorful!

Shumai ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ it’s good and big size per pc
Iced ginger tea ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ good but a little sweet
Ginger tea martini ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ good

We visited twice to check the consistency of their food quality and it’s totally recommended. We will go back

We went again and ordered pad thai, shumai, gai raf prik and shrimp spring rolls.
They’re all still good! And shumai is better than before.
Rice is a kinda dry though.

They turned us away at 8:20 after we called and made sure kitchen would be open. We planned our whole night around this. They also said out of chicken and pad Thai. Last time we went it took over 1.5 hours for food. There’s never anyone at host stand either. They’re severely understaffed. Used to be our fav place. Sad cause the food is so good.

I wanted to love this place! Our server was so delightful and the food was great! However, it was extremely understaffed. Wait for a table was long, and three drinks and 2 dishes we were interested in were gone by 6:30. Servers were just RUNNING and it was too much work for the two to handle no matter how hard they tried. There was also an art market with blasting club music down on the patio below. The dinner was pretty great—pork dumplings and green/massaman curries—but I would not return due to excessive wait times, feeling stressed on behalf of overworked servers, noise, and very long wait times.

Best Thai in Puerto Rico, without a doubt. I’m so glad they’re back. The new local is charming. Really nice vibe. Food is, as always, amazing. The staff is fantastic. One of my favorite places in the island. Highly recommended.

Main upstairs area had a loud incessant beeping noise coming from serving station or kitchen that wait staff refused to silence despite multiple requests. Extremely irritating.
