For example I order a regular spicy chicken Sandwhich and ended up with the pretzel bacon Sandwhich…I don’t eat red meat. You can even tell it’s wrong because it’s an entirely different order number.
I should also note everything is stale, and over cooked at this location as well.
The Chick-fil-A in Grandview (Columbus, OH) is hands down the best Chick-fil-A in the city. I literally drive the extra mile just to come to this location because the quality is always top tier especially for breakfast.
The food is consistently fresh and perfectly made. The hash browns never taste like leftover grease; they’re always hot, crispy, and fresh. The biscuits are amazing every single time, soft, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell this team takes pride in what they serve.
What really sets this location apart is consistency. Other Chick-fil-A locations can be hit or miss, but Grandview never disappoints. I know exactly what I’m getting every time, and it’s always excellent.
And honestly, one of my favorite little details, they always put the Chick-fil-A mint in the bag. Such a small touch, but it makes a big difference. It’s thoughtful, memorable, and something I wish every Chick-fil-A did.
If you want the best Chick-fil-A experience in Columbus, this is the one. Grandview sets the standard.
The second time, I came through for breakfast. The food was hot, however the grease seemed to have not been changed.
The third time, I came through the drive through, again, and whoever was on the drive through speaker had a very cold disposition.
I decided to give them a try for a 4th and last. I ordered through the app, once again, having my food delivered by chick-fil-a themselves and not DoorDash. My food was cold and soggy and the fries and chicken seemed to be cooked in old grease.
As someone who has loved Chick-fil-A my entire life, I was very disappointed to move to Columbus and have a sub par experience thus far. I can count on one hand the sub par and bad experiences I’ve had from chick-fil-a over the last 10 years and four of those experiences are from this location. I understand that we all have bad days, but 4 bad days is a little much for me.
I’m currently sick, otherwise we would have just picked up our food ourselves. We ordered delivery and waited for it to arrive. Once it came, I made plates for my kids. I took a bite of my one-year-old’s nugget to make sure it wasn’t too hot, and it tasted strongly like smoke. I then smelled the nuggets on my salad and my other daughter’s meal, and all of the nuggets had the same strong smoke smell and taste.
We are not comfortable eating any of this order.
I called the location twice, but when you order Chick-fil-A delivery, there’s no quick way to get help—just voicemail. That’s frustrating when you’re dealing with food quality concerns, especially for small children.
I’ve saved the nuggets in case someone would like proof. We just want a resolution and to understand what happened.
Update:
I spoke with Brian, the manager on duty. He explained that they are not able to issue refunds on delivery orders. He also said that anyone above him had already gone home and that the only resolution they could offer was sandwich or meal credits through the app.
During the conversation, he mentioned that their drivers operate company vehicles, do not smoke, and that no one else had reported a similar issue. I understand that may be their policy and experience, but the nuggets we received had a strong cigarette/smoke smell and taste. They did not appear burnt, which is why this was concerning to us.
We are not comfortable eating the food and were simply requesting a refund for items we cannot consume.
I also asked for corporates number and he said he didn’t have it.
I’m hoping someone from upper management can follow up.
