Saigon Hustle | Spring Branch

Social Profile:

Saigon Hustle started as a dream between two best friends wanting to bring authentic Vietnamese food to a larger demographic. With the day to day hustle of being entrepreneurs and mothers, the need for healthier food options through a drive-thru were almost nonexistent. They wanted to keep the menu simple without compromising the quality and explosion of Vietnamese flavors. Cassie and Sandy were able to accomplish this with Saigon Hustle serving banh mi, vermicelli and rice bowls with an array of proteins. It is about bringing convenience and healthy food options to the forefront of the fast casual space.

Stick to Bánh mì, alphabet soup and spring rolls. Came around 7ish on a Wednesday to eat some PHO with my son. We ordered 2 beef pho’s and two waters. Paid about 33 dollars with no tip.
The bowls came with withered greens on the side plate.
Ok here we go….
PROS:
The meat in the pho was good.
The brisket was thick and had flavor. The raw round meat was good. Big pieces. Noodles were ok. I think they were preheated. BECAUSE THE BROTH WAS NOT HOT.
CONS:
THE BROTH: MAN! I ordered the beef pho. This is the most BLAND tasted broth. I’ve ever had. Pictures don’t lie.
ICE COLD BROTH: The pho came in a metal bowl. Metal looks cool. But draws out heat through conduction. Basic science 101.
Side note: I used the drive thru and couple weeks back. Got a pork Bánh mì and an alphabet soup. The sandwich was hot and full of flavor and the soup was off the chain. 1000٪ more flavor than the beef pho. Ill be coming back for sandwich and soup.
FYI. I’ve eaten at alot vietnamese restaurants looking for the perfect PHO.
Eat well my friends

I love asian food and am always on the hunt to great places and this one is one of the best if not the best in town. The egg-rolls are the BEST of all of Houston. It took me years to find them and here they are! Finally . Try them with the peanut sauce.

This is a fast-casual Vietnamese dining experience. The employees are very kind and attentive and have no qualms guiding a first timer through their menu given that the owners and staff appear to hold their business in high regard. The ingredients are well sourced, flavorful, and fresh and it shows. There is plenty of parking (accessibility parking included), drive through service, and a well-sized indoor AND outdoor seating area. The atmosphere is modern and bright with plenty of seating. I had the honey glazed vermicelli salmon bowl ($19.75). After taking my order, an employee kindly brought it to our table. It was beautifully seasoned, flaky, and tender. The flavors are very well balanced. The dish would’ve been perfect, yet I found the noodles to be overly soft. I believe they may have been overcooked. I dropped a star for this reason only. Regardless, for the price, the quality, and the sheet experience this place is a genuine place to try. It is genuinely favorite worthy and as a solid and should be seen as a high point of pride for the Spring Valley Village community of Houston.

I had put off trying this restaurant for years now, and I finally had the opportunity to swing by. They have a couple locations, but I just so happened to be in Spring Branch and thought I’d give them a try

Even from the exterior this place looks trendy and inviting. There is parking, it’s not a huge parking lot, but it should accommodate all the seating inside

The interior is pristine and everything has its place. The interior is also very trendy. The menu is clearly posted above the order counter. They have quite a variety of classic/popular Vietnamese dishes (pho, banh mi, vermicelli bowls, spring rolls, wings, etc

The staff were very friendly and professional. We ordered at the counter and they brought our meal to us in a timely manner

Everything tasted delicious. The flavors were on point, the portions were hearty, and the plating/appearance were appealing. We did notice that the menu described the banh mi as being served on a crispy bun, and the baguette/hoagie roll was delicious, but it definitely wasn’t crispy. It could have just been the day

Some tips:
They have sriracha if you want/need it… and for me, I always need it (love it). I had some friends visit soon after this locations opening, and they had an event coming in, and they offered my friends some extra food and actually gave them a gift card because my friends mentioned they were getting married soon. All this to say, this location is very hospitable

Cheers!!

I got the Banh Box, with nem nuong, Vietnamese pork sausage, which is classically used in goi cuon, or spring rolls.

It’s great!

I love the modern take on it, and I like that. It comes with the traditional Nem Nuong sauce, showcasing their flair and take on classic Viet street food. You can only get this golden sauce at specialty shops that focus on this spring roll.

Egg rolls are top tier as well and they come with the classic veggies that you would expect at any Viet restaurant.

Would definitely return for another banh mi fix.

The food was delicious and had great presentation.
The price is a little expensive but I will say you get what you pay for. I will be telling my friends and family about this place.

Arrived at the drive thru no one answered waited five mins and had to pull up to the window. Customer service is great, and the flavor was good. But ordered the pork and beef spring rolls and they were a mess. Instantly fell apart when trying to eat. Practically melted in our hands. The only thing that I give props to is that flavor very good filling and spices but just the presentation was where it lacked. Would I go back? Possibly to try other items.

This place is seriously one of my favorite spots in Garden Oaks! The spring rolls were so fresh, and that dipping sauce? Just delicious. Plus, service was quick and the staff was super friendly.

If you’re looking for a delightful Vietnamese takeout spot in Spring Branch, look no further than Saigon Hustle! This charming little eatery ticks all the right boxes for a great dining experience.
Right from the moment you step in, the ambiance is refreshing and tranquil. The decor is simple yet inviting, making it a perfect spot to unwind. I appreciated how clean and organized everything was, and I was pleasantly surprised by the peaceful vibe no loud cell phone conversations to disrupt the experience!
The menu offers an array of proteins for your banh mi and rolls, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality you receive. Whether you’re craving a steaming bowl of pho or some delicious banh mi, everything is prepared with care. I tried the pho, and it was rich and flavorful, just what I needed.
