We’ve been for dinner before, and tried lunch today. HIGHLY recommend the “choose your own” special … so much food and for $15 and $16 respectively. Also, legit best Club Sammy in town: toasty bread and cold toppings, yesss!!! Nice service and atmosphere to boot.

My wife and I have been here several times since moving from Southern California and love everything about this place! The food recipes across the menu are creative and delicious! Not a re-hashing of the options you’d find in any other brew-pub in the Des Moines area, but truly unique, interesting & flavorful food.
The beer is extremely well executed – even compared to the larger, more well-know breweries in the area. Coming from California where craft brews and IPAs rule, I especially appreciated their “California Love IPA” – a perfectly balanced and smoother than Confluence’s Des Moines IPA – which is served at every other restaurant in town.
The Smash Burgers here deserve special mention as they are, well, actually Smash Burgers! Highly-seasoned and pressed for a perfect patty crust and high seasoning-to-meat ratio – one of the few restaurants I’ve found in Des Moines that actually does it right!
Lastly, the vibe is spot on with their music theme and cool, casual feel inside. And, the rock star staff are friendly, cool and as engaging as you want to be with them.
All told, this place hits all the right notes and have some of the Greatest Hits in the brew-pub genre. Highly recommended!

First time coming to HiFi. Great time listening to Erf. My favorite local band. HiFi’s Amber Beer, Alt Rock, is very good and their staff very friendly. Very family friendly place as well. I didnt order food but what I saw looked great. Keep up the good work and the music playing!

I love this place! I’ve been here for several shows, and now I’m here for my granddaughter‘s birthday party. What an amazing venue, and delicious food and drinks on top of it! If you’re trying to find a venue for any kind of gathering, you should totally consider this place!

Our server Andrew was super helpful and attentive, this was our first time in the atmosphere was laid back and welcoming. Every person that worked there checked in and made sure we had what we needed. Food came quick, everything was hot and fresh. I ordered the fish and chips, my husband got the steak sandwich with the kimchi slaw, we had the disco tots with brisket as an appetizer. I of course forgot to take photos of everything but 10/10 would recommend defiantly come check this place out if you are looking for some great food!

What a great place! First off, the vibe is terrific, love the decor. Second, Olivia (and Nicki) were fantastic taking care of us, checking in just enough and finding us the perfect drinks. The beer flight I had was great, I couldn’t pick a favorite. My mushroom and Swiss burger was delicious, and I enjoyed the kimchi side as well. I’ll be back, thanks for a great evening!

Cool atmosphere; very welcoming. I was seated right away in a large and comfortable booth. The waiter, Marquas, was fantastic – very personable & friendly. He encouraged me to check out all the spaces – the bar, main dining area, upstairs speak-easy and the 2 level outdoor space. Everything was tastefully decorated.
My friend and I both ordered the single burger. The burger was good, but the sesame seed bun was the star – it was good! We both had the tots as well, which were well seasoned and served hot.
The menu is big enough to have choices, but small enough for them to make each dish well, not rushed. I didn’t get to taste any of the adult beverages, but there are some I want to go back to try.
All in all – great experience.

This place is awesome. Love the rock and roll decor, great framed band pictures on the walls and posters as well as a staircase lined with LPs! The Ragu dip and the artichoke dip were fabulous along with the huge pretzel. We will definitely be back!
