This place was a wonderful find. From the moment we arrived, the service was quick, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The beignets were absolutely delicious, perfectly light and fluffy with just the right touch of sweetness. Paired with their iced coffee that was made just right.
The Cajun fries were a standout as well. Crispy, flavorful, and seasoned to perfection. They were truly hard to stop eating.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.

UPDATE: I never made a false claim. I said the fries tasted a day old, not that they were. They were definitely not made fresh for us. Not everyone has the time to send food back. Besides, our waiter left half way through our meal (took a motorized scooter out of the closet and didn’t even look our way) and didn’t tell us. A simple “we are sorry and will try better next time” would have gone a long way. I don’t recommend this place. There are so many restaurants nearby that were better. Try Coterie! We went twice and had two of the best meals of our trip.

We were encouraged by all the other great reviews and decided to try out the restaurant and now we are thoroughly confused. My jambalaya was delicious, but I’ve had way better. The crab cakes I got were just not it. My husband’s gumbo was so salty. The fried fish was hot and tasty, but the fries underneath it were definitely not made fresh. They tasted a day old. Everything but the fried fish was not hot. It was my first meal ever in NOLA. I am very disappointed in a meal I’ve been dreaming about for years.

Touristy in the best way! A convenient, friendly place to try all of the famous specialties with quick service and reasonable prices for the quantity and quality. Cocktails are surprisingly good, too – for a food-centric place, they certainly produced the best old fashioned I’ve ever had! We’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu over the years and it’s all been great. I don’t know what it is about their potato salad, but it’s somehow got this extra little something that makes me order it no matter what else I’m getting.

Special shoutout for having the Super Bowl halftime show on – we came in after a parade not even realizing it was that time and had the most magical experience watching with the enthusiastic staff and customers.

The food was amazing, one of the best ones we tried in New Orleans. We had Fried Shrimp PoBoy and Chicken Tender Platter. They were both very tasty! The atmosphere was very cute. Dewi was the nicest and sweetest server! Thank you, it was a very pleasant experience overall.

Judit was amazing. For this to be her first day I was very impressed. This is our second time back and the food did not disappoint. We will be back soon and suggest you do too when visiting New Orleans!

Visited with my girlfriend in December, 2025. The atmosphere was very cool in her, but it’s a bit cramped, but not uncomfortable.

Service was quick, however our server was not super engaging, but she did offer her favorite dishes and was fast.

I ordered a Greek Yogurt Protein Bowl with berries and granola and it was as you could expect a Greek Yogurt bowl (good enough). I also had scrambled eggs with some Crystal Hot Sauce. They were good.

My girlfriend had crab cake eggs benedict which comes on a biscuit instead of a English Muffin. She enjoyed it but felt like it was missing something. It was not bad, but it didn’t have a “wow factor”. The sauce was not super flavorful. The biscuit was delicious thigh. She also has grits, which were just fine.

Overall, it was a good experience.

This place is cute. They have a nice backdrop near the bathrooms in the back. Also, their streetcar iced coffee is worth it (add cream and splenda). I enjoyed the brioche french toast as well (the strawberry is a nice touch). Tried the veggie omelette and potatoes, which was good as well with hot sauce. Service is good- I would recommend.

Perfection. Visiting from Austin, TX. One of our first meals in New Orleans and we’re wondering how we’ve missed out on this insane cuisine. The gumbo was just so delicious and complex. The rice and beans were the other highlight for us. I’ve never had beans taste so complex and flavorful in my life. Biscuit was soft and fluffy. The chocolate beignets were absolutely perfect in every way too. So yes, all around – perfection.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere. She had the Crab Cake Benedict and I had the Cajun Sausage Omelet. Of course we shared and had a great breakfast before heading to the airport. A great parting memory of New Orleans.
