Free standing restaurant on this busy road selling Mexican food.

Drive through, carry out and dine in options.

Selling Coke fountain products and some ice cream desserts.

Parking lot is tight and you order at the counter and a few minutes later your order is ready.

Enough for the price you can’t really go wrong. The food’s not bad doesn’t leave a bad taste in your mouth. I eat here about five times a year and it’s been the same hasn’t changed since I walked in.

I am greatly satisfied!! This place was def a winner. For the price and the taste, I was left a happy customer. I saw reviews about their food having no seasoning. Um…… that can’t be true. My food was very well seasoned and flavorful. I’m not sure how they have not over succeeded Taco Bell because the taste and flavor of their food is much better. I would highly recommend this place. The food was fast, fresh and hot. The service was friendly as well. I have no complaints!

This location never disappoints. I have been eating here my entire life and it has been consistently good. I went to the other two locations and they do not compare. Drive to Gulfport to get the good stuff.

Recently moved back to the gulf-coast. I haven’t eaten at Taco Sombrero since 1996. It was better than I remembered. I definitely recommend if you want good Mexican food, give this place a try.

Just left the store on highway 49. The food is normally good. However, in this season is really bad to see people. Employees wiping their face with the gloved hand that they’re making food with. None of us are perfect. We’re all humans but we could try to do better

Found this place as I was in town briefly to use an atm. The food was tasty but beans were very cold lol I don’t understand how that could be a thing. I didn’t care for the green salsa. I couldn’t try the chili sauce as im vegeterian.

I also didn’t understand mentioning how the tortilla was 10″ but well you see the picture. It was 1.89 so can’t complain tooooo much but very odd. Would try something else if ever in the area again. Beans were tasty.

A very nice & clean restaurant. The service was great. The food came out hot , fast & was delicious. MaKayla Woodcock went above & beyond to make sure our food was delivered to our table. The entire staff was wonderful.

I have been coming here for over 2 decades and finally decided to do a google review. The food has been consistent in all that time, besides the occasional addition or subtraction on the menu. They serve their style of Mexican food pretty much anyway you would like it. They always serve healthy portions, compared to some other places, and the time from ordering to having what you ordered is always very short. They have an excellent ‘dip bar’ with sauces, onions, jalapenos, and other items. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, a drive thru, and a smile everytime I have ever been at this location. Recently, a couple of years, we have been blessed with another location in Biloxi and another to soon be opened in the St. Martin/Ocean Springs. They are locally owned and operated so go and give them a try. They would appreciate more business and I believe you will not be disappointed. ALL HAIL THE SOMBRERO.

AMAZING! This place hasn’t changed. I love inexpensive Mexican food sometimes and Taco Sombrero never ever disappoints. We revisited it after being away for 18 years, was like being transported back in time!
