This was my first time there. The service was wonderful, and the food was very good.I would definitely go back again. I have heard great things about their burgers and might want to try one of those next time.

This was a Sunday around 6:30 pm and as visitors to this area, we relied entirely on Google reviews!
They didn’t disappoint and indeed this is a restaurant you must visit while in Long Beach, WA!
The place was very busy, with a wait line of 35-45 minutes but there was a slightly shorter alternative!
Since kids were hungry, we opted to TAKE OUT but ate our meals outside! There are 4 large tables outside.
The adults ordered clam chowders, which had plenty of clams and the kids had chicken strips, French fries, Texas garlic bread, grilled cheese and cod.
Our entree, The Combination platter, had all the sea food varieties listed on the menu, PLUS shrimp, which was my favorite! Everything, including the clams, were cooked to perfection!

While we waited, the kids were provided coloring mats and crayons.
The staff was outstanding, courteous and patient.
An overall 5-star experience!
The restaurant has ample parking, and we found a spot immediately, but it was full, due to how popular this place is, with visitors and locals!
Also, check out the desserts counter, inside!
Since a “picture is worth a 1,000 words,” here’re some pics!
Bravo!

We had the crab cakes which I thought were Awesome! Since I never had them before, the bottom was seared perfectly and the rest just was delicious and fluffy and hot. The entre was the sampler plate which could have been hotter, other than that I thought it was fine. For dessert we took home some fudge which was Amazing. I would go back to try something else.

We came in around mid-day when the restaurant wasn’t busy. The waiters were attentive and helpful when I had questions about gluten free.
To my surprise, their chowder is gluten free, AND they have a fish-n-chips that’s also gluten free. Regular fries are not GF, but sweet potato fries are. (My favorite, anyway.)
My husband wasn’t a huge fan of the halibut in the fish-n-chips that he got (didn’t eat most of it) but the restaurant staff took that off our bill.
He loved the fries and we both really liked the clam chowder!

Absolutely not what we expected, but super kind of them to do so.

We highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area!

First and foremost, the hostess was very sweet. The food was also quite good, although overpriced. The chowder that was offered with your entree was about 2 shot glasses worth but tasted great. My biggest issue was with the blatantly rude waitress. I think she may have been the only waitress there, coupled with a single hostess and assumedly a couple of cooks in the back. I understand this to be a stressful situation but to take it out on your customers is unacceptable… it was not only my table, I had the “privilege” of sitting next to the kitchen and this young woman would storm into the kitchen already smack-talking customers for absolutely normal, expected requests. To the owners: hire an adequate staff if you’d like to conduct business as expensive as you charge. To the waitress: you are there to provide service for a paycheck, no need to do so with vitriol and spite. Good seafood is not worth the saliva we undoubtedly ingested for correcting the staff on our order I am absolutely certain was conveyed correctly.

I rarely leave reviews, but I’ve been coming to Long Beach for years and can never eat fish n chips with a gluten and dairy intolerance…

Not only was the menu catered towards people like me, but the staff was happy to answer my questions and the food was delicious. Very light and not greasy.
10/10 would get take out again

This place serves fantastic fish and chips, complemented by friendly and attentive staff. While beachside dining can often be pricey, the rates here are very reasonable. A standout was the clam chowder—honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Next time, I’ll likely just order a large bowl of it! I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending this spot to others.

We were in the area and asked a local for a good lunch recommendation. This was his top pick. I’m really glad we took his advice. We ordered chowder, salads with shrimp, a bucket of locally-sourced steamer clams (2 lbs!), baked potato, garlic toast, oyster shooters, and a few pieces of the fudge they keep behind the counter. Everything was perfect. The oysters especially were sweet, firm, and delicious.

Regarding New England style clam chowder, it seems there are two camps, thick and thin. This place sells a thinner chowder, but they serve it with two packets of oyster crackers, allowing you to adjust the bowl to your own looking. They know exactly what they’re doing and I appreciate that.

All in all, a hearty lunch for two was about $70 after tax and tip. That’s well north of McDonald’s, but not so much as you’d spend at other similar coastal spots I can think of. We really enjoyed the food and found the service delightful. We’ll be back for sure.
