Small town dining at its best! The bacon cheese burger was delicious and cooked to perfection. Toppings were served on the side and were nice and crisp. The homemade chips really added to the burger and hit the food spot just right.

The server was very pleasant and not overbearing with the right amount of attention.

This place is in an old building from the late 1800s or early 1900s which adds a lot to the atmosphere.

Came through Glasgow on our last road trip, and decided to give this establishment a go. We had a later lunch (1:30ish), so the place wasn’t that busy, maybe 3 other tables/booths were taken.

Service was super friendly and very attentive. Our food came out quickly and was tasty. We did receive quite a bit for the price.
We got fried pickle spears as an appetizer, and that came with their house ranch. Pickles were good, but the ranch was absolutely delicious! I got a Grilled chicken pita as main and that came with sweet potato fries. The pita, to me, was a bit more naan than pita style, but the overall flavor was good.
My partner decided on the special, which was a taco salad, and his portion was huge!

I loved the building and layout (pub style). It can fit several comfortably and does feature a good size bar with seating.

We would definitely visit again, especially to try some of the featured dinner entrees. Worth a visit if in the area.

Excellent food. Great service. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. We’ll be back. We were on a little day trip to Glasgow and stopped in for lunch. Excellent experience. House made dressings are delicious as was the food. Next time we’ll come later in the day so we can try some of the dinner menu. Our waitress was very friendly and made us feel like a long time customer. Can’t wait to come back.

We have been wanting to visit here since we read about it in the Rural Missouri magazine from our electric co-op. It definitely was worth the wait and did not disappoint! The breaded tenderloin dinner was great! The smoked pork chop was on point! The gizzards might be about the best ones I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot). Be sure and try all of the sauces. The honey jalapeno and creamy garlic were my favorites. I hope we can make it in this area again sooner than later to eat here again. God bless!

We stopped in around 130pm on Friday, May 24th. We had been told and read really good things about this place but were really disappointed. When we came in there were only a few customers and we sat up at the bar. The bartender was helping someone with a to go order so we didn’t give it a second thought that she didn’t acknowledge us until after the transaction with the to go was complete and she turned around and walked to the other end of the bar and started washing glasses. After while the floor waitress came up behind us and asked if we had been helped and gave us a couple menus. We moved to a table after that. Our floor waitress was great! We ordered the hamburger steak and chicken gizzards. I read reviews that the gizzards were tender and the best ever and I love a good chicken gizzard so I ordered them…they were tough and gray…the jalapeño sauce that came with it was good. The flamed grilled flavor on the hamburger steak was fantastic. All combined we can’t recommend. I think being ignored by the bartender really set the mood for our visit.

Do yourself a favor and get the steak pita sandwich! So good paired with the house “all steel red” wine.

Do skip out before getting desert either. It’s made locally and was easily the best carrot cake I’ve ever had!

I’d you like the wine enough, skip across the street to the Beckett’s winery for a continuation, or a to-go wine order.

Can’t wait to return!

Had their fried chicken, mashed potatoes/gravy with green beans and a roll. Delicious. Staff was friendly and despite being busy food came quickly. Had the red velvet cheesecake for dessert, it did not disappoint. Will for sure be eating there again.

The food was delicious. My husband had the steak pita and I had the grilled tenderloin pita. Both were excellent. Our server was pleasant and efficient. We would definitely go back.
