The original all you can eat sushi restaurant started in the 80’s. Family run with long standing staff for over 15 years catering to the local environment with a fun Vegas twist. We create all our sauces and rolls in house. No cutting corners. Good old fashioned local to local services Disclosure: While we close at 11pm, because we cannot honor the full 1.5 HR AYCE, we begin taking a la carte only starting at 10PM and last call comes in at 10:30 PM. We are more than happy to do take out a la carte last minute but please be mindful that we are trying to honor our guests and staff too with this rule. Thank you!

Came here after a full day of driving and shopping around Vegas. We called ahead and were told that it would be an hour wait so we put our name down and started driving to the restaurant (20min away). Before we got to the restaurant they called us an said a table was ready (we were a minute away). So when we got to the restaurant we were seated right away. The restaurant also had plenty of parking out front.
The ordering here was a little different then other places we’ve been to. They give you a menu and you place each order with a staff member. But, like other places there were some menu items which was one order per person. So we ordered some of those – soft shell crab, LA Galbi, and Oysters. The Soft Shell Crab was humongous and very tasty! The LA Galbi was a really good portion and grilled to perfection. The Oysters were a good size with the only complaint that it was one order/one oyster per person. We let my wife have them all as Oysters are one of her favourites.
All the food was really good, well presented, fresh, and tasted great. We liked the large assortment of rolls and that you could get a half order – that allows you to try without being to committed. Salmon Avocado Temaki (hand cone) were great and good ration of avocado/salmon/rice. The tempura was not too oily. There is a limit on dessert but we were so stuffed that we could only get one ice cream and 2x Melona ice cream bars to share.
Staff were extremely friendly and came around often. This was good because you always had to place an order through them. On this night it was quite busy and the noise was moderate and we could still hold a conversation.
The large portions, the fresh fish, ability to get 1/2 order rolls, good selection of desserts, friendly staff, and relative closeness to the strip makes this a gem and we definitely will come back again.

I have been coming here since this location opened. We have came here when we started dating, got married and even through pregnancy!
It’s gone through a few changes but the food stays consistently good through time.
We happened to come by on a Wednesday afternoon for a dinner date and we were happily surprised by live music. Pretty cool ambiance and enjoyed it while we ate some delicious sushi!
This will continue to be the spot for us.

Absolutely love Yama Sushi! Chef Chino is truly amazing and always takes such great care of us—it’s clear he takes a lot of pride in what he does. The service is incredibly fast, and the all-you-can-eat sushi comes out quicker than you can even keep up with. Every roll is fantastic, fresh, and beautifully prepared, and the unlimited sushi and nigiri are genuinely top-notch. The quality never drops, even with all you can eat, which is rare to find. If you’re looking for outstanding sushi, great service, and an experience that keeps you coming back, Yama Sushi is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Everything tastes great! The employees are friendly. If you go, I suggest you sit at the sushi bar. The sushimon will recommend to try certain items. They also will create a new item they create on the fly. The only thing I can say is the Menu options are Minimal.

We are visiting Las Vegas, and so far it is the first place with decent food. Initially, we wanted to order separate dishes but then counted and buffet was a much cheaper option for us.
Takoyaki threw me off because it was the first time I saw them to be served cut in half with some spicy sauce on top. It was the only dish that was a miss for me 🙁
Our server was very attentive, she always double checked on us. Great service!

Yama Sushi is the type of place that makes you wish you can rate it 6 out of 5 stars. Not only is the food extremely delicious and insanely reasonably priced, the staff are go above and beyond in making a connection with you. I had great conversations with both the host who seated us as well as the sushi masters behind the counter. Beyond that, I saw the chefs make friends with other customers and greet regulars like longtime pals. Definitely worth a visit, even go out of your way for in the Las Vegas area!
