One of my favorite fast-food chicken spots—hands down.
This location is locally owned and operated, and it shows. The food is consistently excellent—hot, fresh, and flavorful. The restaurant itself is spotless, the employees are upbeat and courteous, and the décor is surprisingly pleasant for a fast-food place. There’s also plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, which makes it easy to bring a group.
A couple of highlights from my last visit really stood out. We ordered the special meal deal, and when I went to grab some plates, an employee met me halfway—already carrying plates and apologizing for not including them on the tray. I didn’t even have to ask. Later, the owner recognized our group (we eat here regularly) and sent out fresh fries on the house. He didn’t have to—this place already earns our repeat business—but that kind of personal touch is rare in fast food, especially when most chains are run by absentee owners.
What impressed me even more was seeing the owner himself working the front counter, jumping into the kitchen, and doing it all with a smile. He mentioned being short-staffed that day, but if he hadn’t said so, I never would have guessed—it was seamless.
I really appreciate this place, and I’m excited to see an Edmond location opening soon.

They have cut their ck portions in half and charge more. The fried okra is also now a tiny portion. Crazy to spend $35 on fast food chicken dinner for two adults and two children under 6 and not have enough food.
And we are light eaters. Won’t be back.

quick easy and good. they’ve been helpful when i drove away without my funnel cake, chicken strips are really good and real chicken. no soilent green here 100% sure on that. looking at you McDonald’s… anyway, they had catfish that was super good but they got rid of it and that sucks. Oh and don’t get the pimento sandwich, their cheese is a bit weird if you’re picky. okay cool, have a good day. enjoy your food.

I had the catfish. It was okay, and crispy. I would have liked a little more fish. The mashed potatoes were great. My husband liked the roasted chicken. He said it was tender and moist, not dry. Overall, good food. This was our first visit, and we will go back.

Normally, I would get a notification that my card was declined for whatever reason, this time there was no notification. So, the young gentleman wasn’t running my card. Went to McDonalds and had no issue. Do better.
