Not horrible, but not great. The family running the place is very friendly, especially the goofy cook. The food came out pretty quickly, but the place was not busy at all.
The food was okay, but just that… not bad, but not amazing. The pad thai was not unpleasant or anything… it simply didn’t have a lot of flavor. Neither did the spring roll. They had a very fresh salad bar available, though.
The place could use a good cleaning as well… the floors were very sticky.
One weird thing I would point out is that the goofy chef was randomly yelling something that sounded like “fire!” from the kitchen… I think I heard it four times while I was there. The other customers and I all looked around in a puzzled manner each time it happened.

The owners of Thai Castle retired and sold the place to the new owners and they just opened this week (Dec. 4, 2018). If you went to the old place and walk in now you won’t recognize it. The food is the same great quality and price but it really got a lovely make over. The old place had sticky diner floors and although very sweet, the older gentleman might have indulged too much in the drunken noodles. The new place is carpeted and well decorated and more upscale. The new staff is very friendly and we will definitely be back!

We came here on a whim and keep going back. The food is excellent, worth much more than what they charge. But beyond the food, the staff are some of the most cheerful people you will ever meet. Every time we come in they quickly puts a smile on our faces that stays until long after we leave. Right from our first visit, they made us feel like we were old friends. This is now one of our favorite places to eat.

Thai Castle has been a favorite of ours for years! They do not make the #40 in Carmel anymore, so we have followed them to the new location. It is well worth the drive! They are a husband and wife that are the kindest people.

Thai buffet! This mom and pop restaurant just opened on 31 Aug 2017 and features a $10 buffet of thai food. Buffet was small but great with yellow curry, pad thai, pork ribs, sweet/sour chicken, spring rolls, etc. Left super full and satisfied. Definitely a nice highlight on our trip.

I have always been a fan of Thai Castle! I love the new location and buffet. 3 suggestions for management. 1. Need to always have chicken pad thai available in buffet. When I came the pad thai had a fish flavor that was horrible. 2. Buffet food and soup was cold. Make certain your food is temp. hot. 3. There is the option to a thai spices to serving. Please offer instruction for spicy level… example: 1 teaspoon = 1 out of 5 thai hot … 3 teaspoons = 5 out of 5 thai hot.

Always great food here, made in a true “mom and pop” restaurant. Great flavors, good size portions, and a very good deal. If you like to support local restaurants and love Thai food, this place is for you. Pad Se Ew and Rad Nar are probably my 2 favorites, but the Prik Kingh and is also really good. (It’s all good, to be honest.)

First time here. I wanted to try the buffet to go . Staff was super nice and gave me a carry out container and told me to go fill it up. It was a small buffet but a good selection. I got to try a couple dishes I’ve never tasted before and was pleasantly surprised. I’ll be back.

This restaurant has very good quality Thai food for a buffet. When you eat there it’s like eating Thai food cooked at home. You get unlimited soda with your meal with no charge as well.

Food was great, and the man and wife are so enthusiastic and kind. Yes the man is hilarious. Loved the hot egg roles and coconut soup that comes with the meals.
