The food was good. Kapoon & pineapple fried rice was my favorite. Service was friendly and nice.

It did take 40mins for food to arrive and they ran out of brisket at about 6pm, which reallyyyy sucked because that was the only reason we went to try out this spot considering its a 30min drive for us.

They were extremely busy and there were lots of order pickups and even a couple of those people were frustrated waiting. As alot of the reviews say, the wait for food is long. One recommendation id like to offer is to stagger the amount of orders they can accept online. It seems more online orders were being fulfilled than a focus on service inside the restaurant. Maybe more help needs to be hired as well.

Food was well seasoned and tastes really good. My second time here. However, took 20- 25 minutes to take our order then another 45- 50 minutes to get our food. The brisket we got was ice cold, all the other meats were fine temp. As you can see we got the $75 Hmong Party platter and assumed it’d be enough for 4 people (comes with 4 drinks), though we only had 3 people. Do not assume that this is a party size platter. This will be a good full meal for 2 people at the most. We only had 3 people and that rice was barely enough. Was really disappointed in how little meat there was to share. Also one pepper sauce ramekin was not enough for a “party”. Overall, really good food however not a good portion size for the price. I recommend ordering the individual dishes for better deal.

Went out to visit for lunch around 2pm. Front parking is small but there’s also back parking as well GPS will bring you to the front. Restaurant wasn’t busy at that time and there were only 3 other family there. Employees greeted us and let us sit wherever we wanted. Everyone was respectful and kept in check with us while eating. Restaurant is very self serving type. You just order then get your own utensils/sauces as needed. Order got taken and food started to be put out at a reasonable time (8-10min.) though, we didn’t have a ton to order. $10 sticky rice, papaya salad, hmong brisket, and pork belly w/fried rice for my partner and I.

Honestly, price to portion, you dont get a ton for what you pay for. Its enough for my partner and I because we dont stuff ourselves alot, but you may be disappointed. I felt full at the end of the meal though.

With that being said, the quality of the food was superb. Everything tasted fresh and well cooked. Pork belly wasn’t stale and hard, it was quite crunchy. Brisket was ofcourse my favorite. Flavorful, smoked, and very tender. Sticky rice could be “stickier” but it was fine. Dipping hotsauce was not spicy but enough to add an extra flavor. The papaya was actually more spicier.

I wouldnt consider this a “weekend” restaurant to go to because of the higher price and longer drive (say if your from the east side), but if you’d like to take someone to a nice clean dinner date, its nice to visit once in a blue moon. That’s my opinion. Would I eat out there again? Hellyeah, just not all the time.

Total without tip came out to around $80 (we also had ordered a few drinks btw). If money isnt an issue, this would be my new joint to go to.

If your on the edge of wanting to try, id highly recomend to just trying it once. My experience went great, can’t complain.

Spacious seating. Smells very delicious upon walking in. You clearly see an open grill behind the counter so you know the food is fresh.
Ordered a platter with thai chicken, rice, korean style short ribs, egg and grilled shrimp.
Ordered their Texas brisket (1lb), pork belly and Cream Cheese Wontons. Pork belly was thick, juicy, crunchy bite sizes.
The wonton have thicker wrappings filled with delicious cream cheese and sweet & sour dipping sauce.
The brisket wasn’t the most flavorful in terms of their rub nor juicy but still worth a try.
Everything was so fresh and delicious. The thai chicken and short ribs flavor were better than I expected. Smoky charred flavor.
The platter came with hmong pepper. The platter was definitely enough for 2 people to share.
The bill was about $100 w/ plus tip.
I would definitely come back.

Was in town and heard about this awesome Hmong restaurant.

The fried rice was excellent! Flavorful and the sunny side up egg was perfect – 10/10.

Tried the Hmong brisket and…it was alright. IMO nothing too special. Not much flavor. You could taste mostly the herbs. Very tender though – 7/10.

Pork belly w/ sticky rice was very good. Flavorful and tender – 10/10.

Hmong pepper – 9/10.

Overall, good food. I’m hoping to try other dishes whenever I’m back in town.

Great food, server recommended tiger streak, which tasted really good. Spicy (I should’ve asked for less), tender, and seasoned well. This was my first time coming here, but definitely not my last. Papaya salad was good as well.

The food was the best BBQ ive had in a long time from a restaurant. The hmong brisket is to die for. The staff is super friendly and insightful on the food. There was so many food I wanted to try but just knew my stomach wouldnt have room for. I will 100% be coming back to try the other food options.

This place has a really nice modern feel on the interior of the building that’s not to old school Hmong fam vibes- but definitely got the original momma cookin’ in the back vibes~!! The server was super friendly and attentive and gave us enough time to figure out what we wanted to try. This is my second time eating here but it’s been so long so I’m excited to be able to eat some good food again~! My older sister needed accommodations for her dish and he was very quick to help us get what we needed for her.

Dishes we ordered so you’re not left wondering in order they arrived!

1st photo – cheese wontons & French fries,
2nd photo – Hmong Brisket
3rd photo – Shrimp Pad Thai
4th photo – Crying Tiger steak
5th photo – Kapoon, extra chicken with noodles on the side~!

I visited Rocky’s today for lunch and I was straight-up blown away. Every dish came out bursting with flavor and personality.
The Lao papaya salad (level 3) lit up my taste buds in the best way, bright and bold with that perfect kick.
The Crying Tiger steak was wildly good, tender and smoky with every bite.
The Hmong brisket stole the show. Rich, aromatic, and so full of depth that I kept going back for more.
The Hmong sausage was simple, clean, and a nice complement to everything else.
And the pork belly laab (level 5)? Absolutely unreal. Crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth inside, and the spice hit just right.
The staff was quick, kind, and even chatted with me about the prep process for the Hmong brisket.
I’m from out of town, but Rocky’s has officially become a must-stop spot for me. I’ll be back every single time I’m in the area. This place is something special.

Food was good. We had the crying tiger steak, la style pork belly, and drunken noodles. Super delicious. I would come again. Service was also good.

Oh yeah, $5 kids meal, nuggets and fries. Man, that’s great because my son is very picky and doesn’t eat a lot.
