Worst McDonald’s ever. Don’t ever come here go to Lauderdale Lakes to the 1.6 miles west. They don’t even answer the drive-through when you drive up and then they put signs on the door every night that say “machines broken“ and the employees lock the door so they don’t have to work and just collect their hourly wage. It’s absolutely a farce. I cannot believe a McDonald’s corporation as big as they are allowed such an atrocity. Completely ridiculous so please don’t come here because you’re not going to get any food.

It’s a McDonald’s in the suburban Floridian America the Beige wasteland… if you’ve been to one, you’ve been to them all. A typical experience – as we appreciate its corporate standardization efficiency while resenting its soulless capitalistic extraction. The workers (especially the drive-through worker) made my night – and they definitely deserve a raise and a union (and are the only reason they get a 2nd 4th star)!.
Unfortunately, this was some of the most mid, unnatural tasting, unsatisfying food I’ve ever had from a McDonald’s – would absolutely recommend avoiding this location. Lastly, the store is sited on a lot that contributes to detrimental automotive-focused suburban design – especially by its impervious paving and vehicular circulatory areas and parking in what should be contributing to a denser, walkable, multi-modal environment.

This is one of those locations with hidden closing times. What I mean is that they’ll be open to delivery request and the like, but as with some other locations, they take an unspecified grace period to prepare for breakfast and will essentially claim that they’re closed if you arrive between 3-4am. Save your gas.

Last night, at around 11 pm I went through the drive thru, usually I pay with my phone and there’s never a problem. Last night though drive thru girl took my phone, gave me a total, changed the total and then asked me 3 times how much money I had in my card, I kept telling her it doesn’t matter I have more than the total your telling me, then I see her exit my wallet screen, (my bank app is open) swipe, click, swipe. I kept on telling her to just charge me and she’s literally all over my phone. Weirdest encounter, didn’t even eat, just asked for my phone and left.

This place could be hit or miss with the service but they don’t make too many mistakes with the orders so that’s why I rounded up to 4 stars. I definitely ask for lots of modifications to my meal and they usually get it right. I rarely go inside. I feel like the wait inside is longer than the drive through. Sometimes the drive through line could be very long but it usually moves at a somewhat reasonable rate. They don’t offer sides of big Mac sauce, you just have to put it on the sandwich. And at this location they don’t charge for extra pickles or ex onions on the double cheeseburgers. I think they charge for mayonnaise on the sandwich so then you could just get the packets on the side.
