Valentine’s Day and you run out of lamb chops? Not a good look especially on a night when lamb chops are clearly going to be one of the most popular dishes.
I specifically dined here for the lamb chops, so imagine my Valentine’s dinner consisting of calamari, a side of sautéed spinach, and two lemon drops. Not at all what I had pictured for the evening.
The sautéed spinach was bland, my sister’s chicken was dry nothing about it screamed moist or well-prepared. My best friend’s crab cake even had crab shells in it that she was pulling out of her mouth. Completely unacceptable.
To top it off, the lemon drops were overly sweet with hardly any alcohol. For a restaurant at this price point, the quality and execution simply did not match the expectation.
This has never been a favorite restaurant of mine, and last night confirmed it will be my last time stepping foot in any Capital Grille location.

Absolutely wonderful experience. We didn’t have a reservation and was a busy Saturday night, but luckily got a seat at the high tops by the bar area. Our server who was also the bartender provided one of the best services we ever had. Besides being super friendly and cheerful, he gave us a complimentary glass of bubbly wine when we said that was a special occasion. The meat is top notch and I highly recommend the Parmesan/Gorgonzola crusted NY strip. Everything was so good and we can’t recommend enough this restaurant.

Dre,our server was amazing! She informed us of the Drink and food specials, answered all of our questions, and was very attentive! It was my first time, she gave us recommendations based on our taste, she also asked if we had any allergens, which I though was thoughtful. She checked in on us frequently as well as other servers making sure our water never went empty.
I decided on the sea bass and omg it melted in my mouth like butter, speaking of butter.. the assortment of breads and the butter was just delicious. The butter tasted like it was freshly churned in the back. I couldn’t get enough of it. We got the spinach and lobster Mac cheese for the table. My favorite part of spinach besides the fact it was cooked to perfection was the roasted garlic cloves.. I am a garlic lover!! It was just enough, so if you don’t like garlic you can easily pick around it. My companions got the seared tuna and lamb chops!

They knew we were celebrating our anniversary, and the card with a heart on the table was a small but thoughtful touch. They also surprised us with a complimentary dessert. The food, as always, was incredible.
It was our first time going at lunchtime—not only were the prices better, but it was also much less busy. Great place, great service. The décor is old school, but in a good way.

I was shocked at how delicious everything tasted. The lunch is quite reasonable. $28 for butter squash soup and salmon. I switched for mashed potatoes. The coconut cream pie was amazing and only $13 for a generous piece. Even the bread rolls were great. They were warm with a nice crust. Really a perfect meal.
The atmosphere is excellent. Comfortable and quiet. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I’m definitely going back.

My family & I visited for my birthday and we were highly satisfied. Everything was excellent, from the service to the food. We had the lobster bites for our appetizer. I had the mint crusted lamb chops, my partner had salmon (I think it was topped with some type of citrus sauce), my daughter had chicken tenders w/fries, & we shared a side of creamed corn and creamed spinach. It’s been over 10 years since I last dined here & it was just as good as I remember it being. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a place that offers a variety of selections, outside of steak.

Celebrated my wife’s 50th birthday here. I decided on a private room as it was a surprise party for her. The Dunwoody Room was perfect for our party of 12. Plenty of space to mingle and a TV for our slide show. Andy who was my POC there assisted me from the start to finish of the planning, menu, costs. Shout out to Andy, Jennifer the manager, Cicil our dedicated server for the evening. Cicil was amazing. The food, service and ambiance was perfect. My wife and our guests were blown away with the whole event. Thank you Capital Grille for helping me celebrate my wife’s special day.

We enjoyed the unique pleasure of celebrating what would have been the 100th birthday of my beloved father-in-law tonight. The Capital Grille was the perfect place for us to observe the occasion. Our server, Cecil, offered amazing hospitality throughout the meal, complete with outstanding menu recommendations and perfectly-timed service. Having shared the purpose of the occasion with him, he brought us a beautiful birthday dessert tray to top off our meal. Now some menu suggestions – fried lobster nuggets – I had never experienced fried lobster before but it was absolutely delicious. My husband loved his lamb dish and my steak au poivre was prepared exactly to the temperature I requested. I highly recommend the coconut cream pie for dessert. The folk at Capital Grille helped make this memorable occasion one we will cherish for many years to come. We are grateful to them.
