When one looks at a restaurant near a tourist attraction, we often think it might not be great or average. This place was however quite surprising to visit. We did not have reservation but they were kind to accommodate us. We ordered for salami, duck pasta and beef stew and all the food was excellent. The pasta was delicious and al dente and freshly made. The salami was fresh and the stew was mouth watering. We also ordered some rosemary roast potatoes and they were just to die for. Lastly we called for caramel creme and that was the best one we had so far. Highly recommend this place for good food , excellent service.

We came here for dinner since we were wondering in the area and were glad we walked in. The steak was cooked to perfection and the roasted veges were such a delight! Honestly wish we had bigger appetites to be able to try more things on the menu. Our server (didn’t manage to get his name but you see his picture) was very helpful and kind. 10/10 for service.

We had such a fantastic time at this restaurant! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was just outstanding. If you go, you absolutely have to try the lasagna and the roasted pork – they are must-try dishes! We were so impressed with both the food and the service that we ended up going back twice. We were walking past and noticed this cute little restaurant, so we decided to give it a try—and we’re so glad we did! The staff were all so lovely and the food was absolutely delicious, probably the best lasagna I’ve had in a long time. The dessert was so good we ended up ordering another plate! Don’t you love it when you find an unpretentious place with a playful and attentive wait staff serving delicious food? Our dinner here was pure joy, from the table next to the bar where we wanted for nothing, to the delicious Crostini al pate’ di fegatini di pollo, Pappardelle sul cinghiale, and a chef’s special dessert that melted my heart. Recommenmded by someone who had an excellent meal here just nights before, we decided to try it. Well, it all starts with a terrible waiter who made for an unpleasant evening. The restaurant has a tone of appeal, with a great location and the ambiance inside is really nice. But the food wasn’t great, and the waiter never put my order in, so it showed up after everyone else was done. On top of that the ribs were dry and not really good. There are too many places in Florence to eat than taking a chance if this place will deliver for you.
