Down-to-earth brewpub with a variety of craft beers, imaginative American fare & patio seating.

Great beer selection with interesting seasonal beers. The food is hit or miss, but our favorite is the wings and the elote dip. Service is friendly, but often slower than one would expect.
The house-made ketchup and pickles are quite different, so I suspect folks either love them or hate them.

We came Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy but we were able to get a table right away. We had a cider, sour, and Belgian and each were great. It’s always nice to see Belgians on the menu. We started with nachos, which were fine but had fresh jalapenos instead of pickled, and not too much chicken. Then we each had a burger. The smash burgers were great, and so was the AZ Trail, but the fries were just ok and not very hot. Overall, pretty good food but the beers were the star.

We checked out the Arizona Wilderness Brewpub on a Saturday afternoon to catch some sports. The bar is massive with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating had misters to keep you cool during the day. Their selection of beer is impressive (which should be expected since they’re a brewery) and has something for everyone. I ordered a pilsner and kolsch. I enjoyed both. They were crisp with a clean taste. The service was great. Fast and friendly with knowledge of the beers on tap. Each beer was around $7 which seemed reasonable. I wouldn’t hesitate to come here again the next time I’m in Arizona.

This place is always the bomb. Great beers. They have smash burgers now which are worth a try. All the food is super fresh. We always get the poutine fries, family favorite!

This place is amazing. Some of the best burgers and sandwiches we’ve had. Their fries are exceptional as well. The bavarian style pretzel with local wheat is incredible. In fact, a huge shoutout to their locally sourced ingredients. Their beer menu regularly rotates and we enjoy trying them as it’s high quality. My Wife and I have been here more times than we can count over the years. Can’t believe it took me so long to write a review.

Just flew in from Florida for Spring Training. The hotel staff recommended Arizona Wilderness. The experience was everything you could hope for in a reasonably priced meal. Who would have imagined a PB&J hamburger. It was amazing because the peanut butter and jalapeño jam are made in-house. Add the wilderness fries (cooked in duck fat), and the jalapeño Cole slaw and you have a delicious meal that you will remember for some time.
Lena, our server, was excellent.

Been coming here since they opened. Always amazing every single trip! Had the fish today that they don’t normally have, it was a weekend special and boy. Let me tell you that was one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time! The coleslaw that came with it was ball. If they could make a fish sandwich with that fish with a coleslaw on top, I literally would be back probably every week. Whoever the chef is needs to get to it because that would be the biggest hit! Also our server today was unbelievable balancing his heavy load of tables. Horrible with names, but I do remember he came from Ra Sushi to wilderness and was just the best! Give him a raise!!

We had a great time at AZ Wilderness. Our server, Lauren, was fantastic; very friendly and attentive. The food was exceptional. WE usually eat pescetarian and with their vegan/veggie selection choosing something satisfying was a breeze. The duck fat fries? We can’t wait to go back for more. The brew selection is ample.
We’ll definitely be going back.

TLDR: Great food and beer. Large wrap-around patio with plenty of indoor seating too.
We were wandering around on the East side for some reason and wanted to have an early dinner on a Friday (3pm). This place showed less busy than usual. It’s in a standalone building with a big patio that wraps around the building (dog friendly).
They have a “just right” sized menu with an organic and sustainable vibe. We started with The Regen Pretzel with beer cheese and beer mustard, accompanied with a nice red wine and a Hefeweizen. We wiped the pretzel and sauces out and would have ate another, but had to save room for our dinner. The beer was perfect with the appetizer and food. Good enough that this was one of my rare instances to get second pint.
I had the Elote burger and my wife had the Sonoran Cajun Chicken. Both were delicious. The “Elote Dip” on my burger turned out to be a pile of Elote corn kernels, but it all tasted great. We chose the Wilderness Fries, which are seasoned, duck fat fries. Great choice and they were cooked perfectly.
Great, attentive service. We will find a reason to be back again!

Great food and brews! The buffalo cauliflower, sonoran cajun chicken sandwich, and churro sundae were all fantastic. The service was a bit slower than expected, but still a good experience overall. Would come back!
