A decent place to try Indian chaat. Over my last two visits, I tried the samosa chaat, chaat platter, bhel, masala dosa, and pav bhaji. Most items were good overall, though none stood out as exceptional.
The dahi vada lacked flavor and didn’t absorb the curd well, while the dahi puri had too much dahi, overpowering the other ingredients. The aloo tikki chaat was the highlight, with a good spice punch and well-balanced flavors. The samosa chaat on my last visit was overly dominated by the chole curry.
The pav bhaji was decent – the bhaji itself wasn’t very impressive but the 1+1 pav bhaji offer made it worth trying. Service was good, and parking is a bit tricky but manageable within the complex.

Chowparty is one the the best Indian street food restaurant at Houston
Which makes you feel you are in India.
They have beautiful collection of food and famous street food of India.
Like samosa chaat pan bhaji Golgappe and what not
I have been there 3/4 times and everytime it gives me more to come again
Their food in yum
Aloo samosa and pao Buaji is my fav
Cherry on the cake on Wednesday they have one + one as offer
Also every day they have unlimited Gol gappe as offer

Very clean and spacious place with amazing Indian food! Our family loved the samosa chaat, mango lassi, Bombay sandwich, chole and dosa! Service was great, and quantity was excellent! Highly recommend for a quick stop to get your Indian food fix!

I stop in Chowpatty Chat on a regular basis to get their masala chai and usually also get the aloo tikki chat. It has tons of chick pea masala (Channa) and potatoes. It’s a bit spicy, like a 3/5. I’ve also tried the samosa chat and the Bombay grill sandwich which are good too! The ras malai is a big portion and SO GOOD.

We tried the chow patty thali and it was a great value $18.99 to be able to try the different dishes. We are not Hindi we just enjoy trying new foods and stopped by as a family and it was very delicious and very approachable for those like us that like to try new things!
