So sweet and good! I had the green chili sundae with pistachios, it did not disappoint. Was surprised at how spicy it was but the combination was amazing! My cousin had the grasshopper which was good but very sweet.

Best desserts in town. They carry every thing you can imagine. Sodas, vanilla & chocolate frozen custard, floats, specialty sundaes, malts, sundaes, shakes and great hotdogs, etc. I suggest you look at the menu online before you go. The menu is mind boggling. The quality of everything they serve is top notch. Staff is always friendly. Prices are comparable to other places. Very busy after dinner. Popular with locals. Definitely put on your list if you’re in the Las Cruces area.

I love custard and I love hot dogs, so this spot was made for me.
My husband and I shared:

The hotdogs were just ok for me. We get a lot of loaded hot dogs and these were on the more basic side.
The custard was fantastic though. We got one with the green chile topping and it was so good. It was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy.
I would definitely come back for more custard next time I’m in the area.

This place is terrific! I love frozen custard and Caliche’s didn’t disappoint. The brownie split was great, rich brownies, hot fudge and a cherry on top. The gizmo with salted pecans hit the spot.
Before the frozen custard we had a chili dog and a Frito pie hot dog. This place uses Nathan’s hotdogs, so you knew they were terrific. I’m from Detroit, so I know a good coney when I eat one. These were great.

Always amazing. Can’t go wrong with a Gizmo salted. Service is usually very fast and the product is very consistent. You might end up with a touch of diabetes, but it’s totally worth it. The hot dogs are also totally excellent and very filling. Overall a great local hole in the wall you shouldn’t miss!

Caliche’s is a long time Las Cruces favorite. This place has frozen custard prepared in numerous ways. The Gismo is my favorite and has hot fudge, caramel, and pecans (or other choice of nuts).
