We were looking g for a neighborhood bar to check out before the basketball game. This was the perfect spot. It was very old with a cool decor that made strangers feel a home. The bartender was a lady full of energy which added to our experience. The food was homemade not from some box and tasted great. We also had fried pickles that we would have again.

Came here awhile back and really enjoyed this restaurant! The inside is pretty cool, and they have a big menu with lots of delicious options to try from. They do have cheap beer, so they get busier during the school year. When I was there, I had the rueben. It was probably the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I definitely want to go back and get it again!!

My partner and I went to DT Kirby’s for a casual date night. For a Friday evening, we were pleased to be seated immediately. Our waitress (didn’t catch her name!) was very kind and attentive. She was informative of what beers were in/out of stock. Our appetizer of cheese curds with marinara came out quickly and was a huge portion for the price! Nicely salted, well cooked, and the marinara was tasty. For entrees, my partner ordered the bbq bacon burger and I ordered the italian beef, both with the house made chips. Admittedly we were both a little underwhelmed. His burger lacked flavor, and my italian beef was very very dry despite being served with a side of au jus. I’m not sure if they keep the meat warm in its juices, but by the consistency of my sandwich, I would not assume so. My positive notes are that the house made chips were warm and crispy, and the giardiniera served with the italian beef was deliciously spicy. Overall I give this restaurant a 3.5/5 as the service was quick, our bill was cheap, but overall the food was hit or miss. I would return, but maybe just for apps and drinks. PS their port-a-potty bathroom entrances are adorable!

We visited this restaurant twice and had great experiences each time. Our first visit was with a group of five, and the second time we came with nine people. The restaurant has a fun and unique decor, with elements like Port-a-potties as the doors to the restrooms, which added a quirky touch to the ambiance.
During our first visit, I tried the Truckstop burger with their homemade chips, which was delicious. Most of us enjoyed the food, although a few found some dishes either lacking in flavor or overwhelmed by a particular ingredient. Unfortunately, I don’t recall the specific dishes that didn’t meet expectations, but the overall dining experience was positive.
The restaurant did a great job accommodating our group’s dietary needs. We had two people with nut allergies and one vegetarian, and they all ate happily with no issues afterwards. This attention to dietary restrictions was impressive and much appreciated.
Despite the restaurant being busy and our group being large, the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to those passing through.

Yeah so I walked in today. I figured I’d grab me a burger and some fries, I ordered a medium burger and I got rare, it was still bleeding, and then I got fries and they were burnt, then they put dipping sauce in there and they just kind of threw it in there, no lid on it, I’m just leaving this review. Hoping that the kitchen staff can maybe do a little better. Got to make sure you’re checking those burgers especially, one cook to another. Have a great day. We’ll see how well it goes next time I eat here

It’s a great place for bar food! I go there regularly and I’ve been very pleased with every visit. Friendly and casual atmosphere. Throughout the day it’s family friendly. Evening and weekends are pretty packed but seating is still easy to get and food is fairly quick for the amount of people. Staff is very friendly and helpful!
Among my friends and I a go to Burger is the Bacon egg burger which is delicious! Philly sandwich is also really good, I haven’t tried anything I don’t like.
It’s probably my favorite place to get a Tenderloin sandwich.
There is a great selection of beer that’s constantly rotating. Their full bar allows you to get any drink you want.
Overall it’s always a great experience, fast and friendly service. Worth coming back.

I would not recommend this place. First it started with the unbelievably rude hostess, that literally ran us back to our table. I guess we shouldn’t have interrupted her cigarette break with 3 men that she was having right out front of the building. Disrespectfully instructed us to sit. Then our hostile waitress that could not even say her name when taking our drink order. Then our food came out raw. Once brought the raw burger to her attention she said “oh shit bro, my bad.” The waitress didn’t come over to check on us until it was time to pay, imagine that. Overall, I got food poisoning within 1 hour of leaving the restaurant. DONT go here.
