Very busy Saturday, to avoid the 1/2 hour wait we sat at the bar.
Super helpful – and friendly bartender was quick to get us a draft beer and the menus.
Nice red ale, local NC brewery, was an excellent recommendation.
Interesting menu, and the bartender explained many of the signature dishes.
We decided on the Seared Ahi Appetizer, the Crab Bisque and the Lump Crab sliders.
Ahi app was truly amazing, and the slaw it came with was also wonderful.
The bisque was excellent, on the 10 best list!
Sliders were very moist and nicely done, thought it needed just a bit more bistro sauce but my wife loved it!
This place is tucked in the back of a shopping strip but by the looks of the wait line, it is well known in the area.
Definitely a must try if you’re around the area. Amazing looking dishes kept flying by out of the kitchen.
Will go back for sure! And thanks to the excellent bartender too!

I was very disappointed with my experience at Cape Fear Seafood. I ordered the apple cobbler for dessert, but what I received was just warm apples with ice cream—no cobbler at all. When I mentioned it, the manager came to the table, took away the dish, and brought back another one, that was cold apples with ice cream on top, still with no cobbler. It was very disappointing, and I felt the situation could have been handled much better.

A wonderful place to enjoy delicious food with your closest people. Food and presentation was outstanding. Tiny thing we just simply didn’t enjoy our server. It was probably a personality thing. We wanted to enjoy our time and he was probably a bit too strong in his ways. We would have probably be more comfortable with the lady that was so nice and took a picture of my little party. I’ll definitely be back for the food and will request a lady to wait on us. 5 stars definitely

Started eating there about 2 years ago. Food, drinks at the bar, waitstaff, have remained very consistent. Prices and promotions are stable and a good constant.
One of the best places to grab a bite, meet new people, feel very comfortable, and safe.
They are very friendly, and go out of the way to provide the little things that makes an excellent visit. Been a party of 2, and as many as 12 or 14. Always a good experience. They’re excellent at accommodating food restrictions too.

Ordered to-go the Crab Dip and the Fresh Catch. Very disappointing… the crab dip is salty and the fresh catch I might as well just made myself. No sauce or anything. It’s nothing good about it. Asparagus taste like it came straight out of the ground, the risotto is overcooked and the salmon is the only EDIBLE item I received. Can’t really mess that up huh. Had a packed house and people raved over this place. Don’t see the hype at all. A waste of money !!

We had an amazing time! Great atmosphere, friendly clean service, the staff was so kind to my daughter, the food was absolutely amazing. We will continue to come back. They have tables and booths, very spacious, an outside area, and plenty of parking. It’s definitely a favorite for a lot of us that live here. We went at 11 AM before the church crowd got out. We have been here once before during a busy time and they were still on time with meals, and it was delicious then as well. I took pictures this time. Bloody Mary for brunch was spicy (I asked for that), and so refreshing. I had the Mahi tacos (catch of the day), WILL BE GETTING AGAIN, and got crab cakes for my daughter, with fruit substituted for strawberries because she’s picky. My father (no picture of his food, sorry) had their famous grits and smothered biscuits. Everything was absolutely delicious. In total for 3 it was $85, but well worth it, TRUST ME! We did have to make reservations and they give up to 10 minutes to be late, but don’t be late. This place is popular.

We really liked this place. The food, the atmosphere and the service was excellent. There was only one problem, the risotto tasted like it was from yesterday! It was dried out and just gross. But other then that everything else was delicious! The asparagus was fresh, I had the salmon which was delicious and very fresh. My husband had the seafood platter he thought that was also very good. It was our first time there,l. It’s always nice to find a place for fresh seafood! So we will be back.

I really enjoyed this place! It was my husband’s birthday, and we wanted to try somewhere different than our usual spots. The food was delicious; their crab dip is spectacular! Our waitress was very nice. We made a reservation for lunch, but we didn’t need it. However, for dinner MAKE A RESERVATION because the restaurant isn’t very big. I will definitely be going again!
