We had an awesome time at Brothers Bar and Grill! The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, the food came out hot and delicious, and everything was well-priced. But what really made our visit great was our waiter Dawson.
Dawson was outstanding, friendly, attentive, and on top of everything the entire time. He checked in without being overbearing, got every order right, and made us feel like a top priority. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and enjoys what he does.
Great service can make or break a meal, and Dawson absolutely made ours. If you go to Brothers, ask for Dawson, you won’t be disappointed!

My partner, two friends & I came in on NYE around 4:15pm. Amanda was our waitress, we began looking at the specials for drinks and she advised no drink specials because of the holiday. Okay no worries, we still ordered a round of shots & 3 pitchers. Both parties ordered a sampler app & asked for 2 ranches instead of marinara and one honey mustard as it comes with 3. Food arrives, looks great but it has one ranch, honey mustard, and marinara. We asked if we could get the ranch we asked for instead, no worries she grabs it. We decide on another round of shots and ask for our bill. Everything on the bill has a $2 up charge & the least expensive drink is $2.25 more, and then charged for the ranch that was brought to the table that was a mistake on the waitresses end. When asking why our bill is $8.25 more than it should be making it almost $100 for 2 people, the waitress says “I think there’s an up charge because of the holiday”. When we ask why we wasn’t made aware of the up charge she can’t give us an answer so we ask for a manager. Which is completely makes sense why there would be a slight up charge due to a holiday, I guess. But there was no warning nor anything on the menu or in the restaurant advising of the up charge. The manager finally comes over and is looking over the bill and he advises that they charge more on the holiday and the waitress should have made us aware and then when we ask why they’re not making it clear on the menu or in the restaurant his response is “we probably shouldn’t give out the menus anymore tonight, huh?” He ended up comping us on a $10 shot for the inconvenience, but it’s very unprofessional for such a big staple in the down town scene to up charge & not make their customers aware beforehand. Food & drinks were good overall, but as far as service goes thumbs down.

Our food was plain. Husband got a chicken wrap. He said, if he didn’t know it was supposed to have chicken. He wouldn’t have known the meat was chicken. It was very light, tasting. I had a burger with bacon on it. It also was very light tasting. The burger didn’t taste beefy. (frozen patty I’m assuming) I didn’t take pictures of the food. It looked good though. Just light tasting.

Great service. Came here during the Big Ten tournament and was immediately greeted by an outstanding bartender. My bill says his name is Jacob. The lady bartender working with him also was great. Good our food and drinks very quickly and it was all tasty. The gentleman who brought out our food even went back to get us extra sauce. Great establishment, good price drinks and yummy late night bar food. Fine place to come when visiting downtown Indianapolis.

Olivia was amazing behind the bar! She was friendly, fast, and made some of the best drinks I’ve had in a while. You can tell she really knows what she’s doing. I’ll definitely be back!

Where do I begin…. We had just completed a road trip to Indianapolis as we were in town for the Indy 500. The whole family was huuuuungry! The service was really good and our order was taken and came out pretty quickly. The food on the other hand? Speechless. The nachos were fresh but somehow it was a soggy mess. The Nashville chicken sandwich was the biggest disappointment. The second you bite through it, it was like the chicken was a sandal in between two pieces of bun. We passed it around the table to confirm that it was the weirdest slice of chicken ever…. The seasoning on it was far from Nashville to begin with. We paid for our food and did not complain to anyone, but it has been bugging me ever since we left this establishment to do my due diligence and warn people about this specific items on the menu.

Stopped here during the DCI World Championship. The place is huge and you can seat yourself as there is no sign of a host station. Might as well grab yourself some drinks and food as well bc the service was definitely a par. We kept seeing our waiter taking orders at other tables then he would streak past us at high speed. We almost had to step in front of him to get his attention. I am thinking this was more a greedy server than a bad resto but we also didn’t see a manager in sight. You know what they say about inmates running the asylum? Go here to see it in person.
The food was decent American bar food with burgers and this HUGE taco (pictured). My taco was fairly cold but would have been amazing with a little heat. The kids had burgers and they were good.

The food was great but I am confused about the menu. Online has completely different items than inside the restaurant but the food we ordered did taste great I will say that. After a colts game it is really busy but the service was great and reasonable timing for food. You may have to stand and wait for a possible seat is the only bad thing I could say.
