My waitress was the absolute best. Plenty of TVs if you’re wanting to watch sports. The food was good.
I was traveling for work and wanted to watch some of the super bowl and get a bite to eat. This place was a good place to hang out. I saw a lot of families coming in for something to eat while I was there, so I suspect it’s pretty family friendly as well.

Not a great selection of beers especially for a tap house. I had a boulder smash burger which was pretty good. The Alabama white sauce was great, I asked for a side of buffalo and the Alabama white sauce for my fries. She got the soup and salad. The preset came out just as requested, she got no tomatoes and a side of sour cream for the chili and mine had the dipping sauces. Service was good. Mostly attentive however it took awhile to get our check. When we received the bill we noticed they charged us for all the side dipping sauces and sour cream. I absolutely hate that. We’re spend $60+and you’re going to nickel and dime me over 2oz of Alabama white sauce. I just find that offensive being someone in the industry.

I really like this restaurant and have never had a bad experience here ever. In fact, I had two people ask me tonight if we had been served or not. I got the Epic Burger tonight for myself. Just take a look at this thing, it’s 10” high. Wow. Enjoy…

Good service. Good atmosphere if you want to watch sports. The food was average – not terrible but nothing we’d want to order again. The Hickory Cheddar Burger had no noticeable sauce so it lacked some flavor. Since it was a Thursday night, due to a special, we ordered boneless wings. They were homemade. They weren’t as crispy as we prefer, and we didn’t like either of the sauces we chose (Jack Daniel’s BBQ and Sweet Chili) despite liking similar sauces on wings from other restaurants. The fries that came with the burger were good. We also tried the Kitchen Sink Bloody – the drink itself wasn’t good but the toppings were delicious.

We’ve been to multiple Boulder Taps and we know we enjoy the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately neither the hostest or waitress that served us seemed very friendly or happy to be at work. I understand people have bad days, but that was our experience.

Place was busy due to a TNF game but I still got seated, waited on, and served very quickly! Curds were like I’ve NEVER had before… Giant fried cubes, yet surprisingly light. Philly sandwich came with au jus that had a lovely hint of smoke flavor. Great craft beer selection as well.

Their long island ice teas are amazing! I had strawberry, someone else had regular, they were both good. The food there was scrumptious also. Burgers and fry’s and wings all perfect!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The waitress barely showed up. Waited over 40 minutes for our food. Ordered a gluten free bun, received a regular bun, when asked about it they just brought a microwave soggy bun out on a plate for us to switch the sandwich over. The fries were burnt, and so were the burgers. Has to flag down a waitress because ours never came back. The manager still charged us for the food, that was not eaten because it was burnt, but she did give a discount and will talk to the staff. I would give 0 stars, but that’s not an option.

Nice place in a strip mall just north of town. Has a bit of a chain feel to it but good decor and atmosphere. Good selection of taps, friendly staff, enough TVs to watch the games. Food was average but ample. My hamburger was overcooked but the fries were great. I sat at the bar late afternoon on a Saturday in mid-September and had plenty of space and a pleasant visit.

My family tries to visit Brainerd every year and this was the first time we were able to make it to Boulder. Worth the wait! Table was clean, service was quick, and food was delicious. I snagged a flight of local brew, too. We’ll make it a tradition to come back again next we come back to the lakes!
