Reviews
We’re from Pennsylvania, and last to last Sunday my family and I drove to the BAPS Robbinsville Temple. On our way back, we were craving some good Indian food. After checking reviews, we decided to drive another 30 minutes to Kabab Culture, and it was absolutely worth it! We reached around 6:05 PM, and since the restaurant opens at 6, we were lucky to get the last free table, and was already full right at opening time!
The ambience was warm and welcoming, the customer service was excellent, and the food was simply outstanding. Honestly, if you’re in NJ or PA, you won’t find this taste anywhere else. Everything was super delicious!
We loved it so much that we went again the following Saturday, driving over an hour and a half from Allentown, PA, just for their food. And guess what? The experience was just as amazing the second time!
I’m so glad I made that extra drive. totally worth it. If you haven’t tried Kabab Culture yet, you’re missing out! Trust me, you’ll never regret visiting this awesome restaurant. ️
The woman (Indian) working or owning the place there was extremely rude from the moment we arrived. We were paying customers, yet we were treated as if we were doing something wrong simply by being there. She refused to let us use our own bottled water for our kids and spoke to us with unnecessary hostility.
We did not have a reservation, but her attitude made it seem like that was a crime. She looked at us condescendingly, as if we didn’t belong in a restaurant. Service was practically nonexistent no one attended to our table to serve.
On top of that, while my family briefly stepped away to the restroom and I stepped outside to the car, they cleared our table and even removed the drink we had ordered for our kids, without asking.
It’s a shame because the food was genuinely delicious, but the service especially from that particular woman was absolutely unacceptable. We will not be returning until they learn how to treat customers with basic respect.
Oh I forgot kind of on a little expensive side awful service and good food
The ambiance was cozy and inviting, creating a great atmosphere for a relaxed meal. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
A wonderful way to end the year – I highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic and tasty Indian cuisine!
Happy New Year 2025!!
It’s all about the food, and they get the food right
Upscale indian food done to perfection in an eclectic setting with excellent service
This place is a must try
The sauces were thoroughly cooked and presented in generous portions with excellent choice of breads or rice
If this place was in California I would eat here every week
Over all their food is not bad it’s OK.. my experience the first time I was there was good actually great but that was dinner .
At 3pm in afternoon they repurpose dishes all the dishes I ordered were not freshly made but kinda warmed or finished. Breads were fresh out of the tandoor.
The chicken tikka and the seekh were not fresh out of the tandoor but repurposed.
Methi chicken curry had flavor but was too greasy and salty for me .. my first experience of their dishes was very fresh and very delish which was not at this time.
The food was very heavy , greasy and salty.. I prefer my dishes to be right cooked however if you are the one who live that extra extra of greasy heavy kinda tadka (seasoning for Indian gravy) then you will like the place .
My recommendation to diners DONT GO IN THE AFTERNOON . Visit them in prime hours and you Shd get some good treats .. when their chef is in the kitchen ..
Horrible attitude by the hostess who also took our order. She gaslit us instead of taking accountability for messing up our appetizer order. No coutsesy, no professionalism, just pure rudeness.
By the time our food finally came, the whole experience was already ruined. Everyone has lost their appetite waiting for over an hour for the main course. Food was mediocre at best. Outrageous pricing for food you can literally get at an average Indian restaurant anywhere. What a waste of time & money!
We went for dinner after reading numerous reviews and were pleasantly surprised by the amazing flavors of every dish. All staff were friendly and did good service except the receptionist. She was kind off-mood, didn’t greet us properly and also didn’t let us sit were we preferred despite calling ahead to reserve a table.
The dishes are extremely overpriced and we spent over $100 just on three appetizers.
The main lady who takes orders seriously needs to work on her attitude. Very unwelcoming and couldn’t hide it even with a fake smile. The staff was unengaging. Not once were we asked if the food was okay, however they kept pressing us to order main course.
We had asked the dishes to be made more spicy and they said we will serve you chillies on the side which never arrived. The place was not crowded at all so I didn’t really get the uninterested attitudes of the staff.
Food was great but with a bad customer service I doubt if I will come back.
They also thoughtfully played a happy birthday song during the cake-cutting ceremony, and our entire family thoroughly enjoyed the party as well as the indian food. The rasmalai Tresleche, sukha Goat, Achari chicken tikka!
The restaurant is very clean and the service provided is overall decent. We extend our sincerest gratitude to the manager for their invaluable contribution to making my mom’s birthday party a monumental success.
It’s an impressive everything and I intend to visit again when I’m in or near by South Plainfield!!
