This restaurant deserves a 5 stars all the way! We had caldo de res and I must say, the meet and vegetables were cooked to perfection, very fresh and tasty. We had carne asada and shrimps and they were good, even the hot tea was good. Service was awesome, everyone there were very attentive.
This is my new go to Mexican restaurant in Desert Hot Springs. I highly recommend it.

Where this Mexican restaurant really shines is the atmosphere. I absolutely love the Chairs with the paintings on them. The atmosphere makes one really feel like in Mexico. The food is consistently good but this time I was wondering about the guacamole. The color the consistency and all did not seem like it was homemade and fresh. Now don’t get me wrong opening up a package with powder and ingredients and all mixed with water and mixing that in a bowl does not make it home made. I’m not saying that’s what they did but it sure tasted like it. I will correct myself next time I go there if I am wrong and update this review.
I had the chili Colorado this time and it was pretty good but not as good as I expected for this very popular Mexican restaurant. I did enjoy it but as a real chilly Colorado addict I had many versions in many different countries and places and this one is not the best but still good to eat and I will definitely order it again.
Be aware chips to salsa they hand you before the meal is to my taste a bit spicy but good taste.
It was a little hard to get a smile out of the waitress but once I got the smile she showed off her beauty. May I say Latina beauty?
The bathrooms are also clean every time I go there.
Pricing is pretty fair here but definitely not cheap but also not expensive. In my opinion when you order the $3 addition to your plate with rice and beans that should be more rice because there was not enough however after eating the whole plate plus the chips and salsa I was pretty fool and happy.
I do recommend this place even though not everything is the best at times but the food is consistently good and atmosphere is just amazing.

My new favorite restaurant
I’m absolutely in love with this restaurant, from the service, prices and atmosphere. I enjoy sitting at the bar with Bartender Elias. I ordered Tostada Mixta with extra sauce. It’s to die for. Perfect amount of spice, fresh and delicious.

This is a great place for Mexican food if you want good food and great vibes. The happy hour is amazing. We got giant margaritas for $5.50 and I ordered the birria tacos with the rice and beans and I did not regret it. They bring you chips and salsa at the beginning and the salsa is really good. It’s not ketchup with cilantro and onions floating in it, it’s real Mexican salsa. If you can’t handle spicy food, this ain’t for you. We’ll definitely be coming back. Y’all come to the spot and enjoy.

The food here was great—I really enjoyed it and would definitely come back for the quality of the dishes.
That said, the service needs work. The bartender seemed to be running the whole show, which led to delays. It took about 15 minutes just to get our first drinks and put in our order. After our food was delivered, no one checked in—no offer for drink refills or extra napkins. I ate an entire fish with one napkin.
Suggestion for management: Use the busser to check on tables for simple things like napkins and refills. There’s no reason they should be standing around when guests need attention.
Great food, but the service could be more dialed in to match it.

Good food, great bar, good service. Nice venue, Mexican decor setting. Menu was expanse with good traditional choices. Lots of drink options including a large bar a door away to keep family restaurant separate from the bar.

So went to Casa Blanca, last night for the two of us. On December 3, a Wednesday night just In the middle of the Firebirds hockey game playing on TV.We just wanted two margaritas and some chips and salsa and sit at the bar. The time was 8:40 PM when we arrived. The bar looked amazing, the lights are so beautiful all the TVs were on showing the current hockey game with the Firebirds, they were plenty of employees all around and it looked just absolutely beautiful. Walked up to the bar to order two margaritas at 8:40 PM, and they told us the bar was closed. What? Closed? ……. Why would you spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to open up a fabulous restaurant, only to close it during primetime hours. We were completely disappointed and end up, leaving along with the other people that they told the bar was closed. Completely disappointed. And this is why we continually go over to Palm Springs if we want to have a drink or some great food. I hope the owner sees this post, he can give us a legitimate answer on why they would be closed in the prime time evening of 8:40 PM?

Did a pick up order. The $6 hard shell taco was soggy & falling apart. The piece of carne asada on the carne asada & shrimp plate was tiny and only came with 4 shrimp for $23.99 – & the shrimp was not deveined ….we will never order from Casa Blanca in DHS again!!!

It was Friday night my spouse and I were excited to try this new restaurant. We entered the restaurant and the aroma was wonderful. My stomach started growling immediately. Our excitement grew in anticipation of an amazing meal. Our optimistic mood was very short lived. The server started out strong but the downward spiral was drastic caused by a simple distraction of patrons she must have known. She stood at their table for an excessive period of time talking to the other patrons as if they were family. The entire time she held our drink order inin her hand. The customers she seemed to know came in after us ordered after us but somehow their drinks arrived long before ours. We had to call a passing server and let him know we were ready to order and had not received our drinks or chips and salsa. As our original server never acknowledged our menues at the edge of the table which is the universal signal for “we’re ready to order”. When the drinks did come they got it wrong. It was the first time our server had engaged us since the initial interaction. She came by the table and made me feel as though she was trying to blame me for the drink order being wrong. Her approach was more confrontational than conciliatory. Our chil basket as never refilled our drinking was never refilled nor did the server once approach our table to offer either courtesy. My spouse and I remained in hopes of salvaging an evening That quickly became unpleasant. However when the food Arrived it was more than either of us could ensure. My spouses soup arrived Long after the main course and only because we stopped and asked why had the soup not been served. . I ordered the fajitas combo beef chicken and shrimp. It arrived at the table by itself. No no beans tortillas no sour cream or guacamole. Again we had to prod the server to bring the full meal. While waiting on the rest of my meal to arrive I noted I noticed the handle sleeve of my fajitas was filthy. Upon closer inspection of the handle sleeve I saw what looked like hairs on the handle and some on the food. t that point I was done. I told the server I will not eat that and to take it back. I refused any replacement meals because I could not count on the health standards of this establishment. Plus the staff was still being aggressive and rude I I did not trust them to handle my food in fear they would intentionally contaminate my food. At one point another employee came to our table
