My husband and I went further than usual for our Tuesday lunch date this week. We drove all the way to Barrington, crossing the still-under-construction bridge amidst heavy traffic.
We entered the cafe portion of the establishment. It had the feel of an European cafe promising epicurean delights. On one side of the cafe, many varieties of wines were displayed. Across from that was a dessert case, filled with such temptations as truffles, pastries, and cakes. The staff was helpful and pleasant.
The Italian bread was just that – crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. I had the chicken parm with spaghetti, while Ralph had the veal parm with penne.
After our main course, my husband had coffee, while I enjoyed a smooth, non-bitter cappuccino. I couldn’t resist a treat from the dessert case, so I had a milk chocolate truffle with M & M’s.

I come from a long line of Italian ancestors. I just got back from a European vacation including 2 days in Florence and Rome. The food here at Spaghetti Lane rivals everything I ate in Italy. I had the pink vodka penne with sweet Italian sausage and my mother had meat lasagna. Excellent taste, texture and very generous portions. The Italian bread reminded me of authentic Italian bread of my youth- crunchy crust on outside, tender on inside. The Gelatos were great and we split salted caramel chocolate bon bon. They had a large assortment of delicious looking desserts. They also do catering.

This place was a surprise, tucked in a neighborhood in Barrington and who would have thought they have some of the best Italian food! We ordered too much food because we couldn’t decide! Everything was fantastic, chicken cutlets, vodka sauce, meatballs, stuffed zucchini flowers, etc. Everything was fantastic, the service was great. We will be back often

Two days ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Spaghetti Lane, a charming boutique restaurant and Italian bakery in Barrington, Rhode Island. What we experienced there was nothing short of perfection.

It’s been years since I left a genuinely good review for a restaurant. Since moving to the area for a job, I haven’t had any opportunity to have any good food/restaurant in the area.
I had the opportunity to interact with the owners (I’m assuming) who were both passionate about their work and cooking directly from the owner chef. It may sound weird, but I felt LOVE from the food. I could feel that they were made with genuine love to make that food. They tasted amazing.
The portion sizes were ridiculous, but I loved that aspect as well. I could feel that the chef cared for what the diners felt upon receiving the food.
Both pasta dishes tasted perfect, something that we were looking for (and missed) for a long time.
Thank you for such amazing food and experience. I feel like I found a gem and will definitely return for more.

First time visiting (with my elderly parents) who live nearby. We arrived early and got seated on the cafe side. Great overall experience from the sunny cheerful room, friendly servers who were on top of everything even as it got busy, to the owner/manager (?) who stopped by to check on us and to roll up his sleeves to help out, and of course the food. Portions are enormous—mom and dad will happily eat them for a few more meals at home. Complimentary bread and we loved the fruity olive oil on the table, along with crushed red pepper, Parmesan, and salt and pepper. Really awesome broccoli rabe, just north of al dente pasta (which is our preference), dad loved his fish and chips. We brought home some delectable-looking pastries. We will most definitely return.

Easily some of the best Italian food I have tasted. It tastes just like your Nana cooked it in her kitchen for you! Big portions which are great for leftovers all week. This is a “must try” for anyone looking for authentic tasting Italian food. Bon appetit!!!

Grabbed a broccoli rabe and sausage grinder to go, it had just the right kick of red pepper flakes, moist enough without drowning the bread….absolutely the best broccoli rabe I’ve had ANYWHERE….and Casey is super cool. Highly recommend this little taste of heaven…
