The new staff member that are the servers are wonderful. I went to Pier 151 when it was open prior to new management and going back was hard. However Michelle, Samara, and Miea are wonderful. They exceeded my expectations since I was nervous to go back to the restaurant without my original service animal. I have another one and she did amazing for her first time. The breakfast area is the BEST thing about the place. Continue reading the hotel’s reviews to read what horrible things they did to me.

I got a light breakfast. It was my first experience with avocado toast. The server helped me order the right one and it was terrific.

Stayed at the Southbank Hotel Jacksonville Riverwalk, this is their on site breakfast buffet restaurant. A ok selection of foods, over priced for what was offered, typical buffet food, was warm not fresh or hot. But it was convenient. Better off going to a regular restaurant.

Excellent service provided by Kameron who was personable and engaging. I also want to thank the manager, Dillon, for going above and beyond to take care of my low-carb needs. Both Kameron and Dillon represent the best of Marriott standards.

Service was terrible. The server acted like we were a bother. Waited almost an hour for overcooked eggs and cold potatoes. Very disappointing.

After reading reviews, I assumed I would have to go off property to find decent breakfast. I was wrong – be sure to look for recent reviews. I noticed later that most of the one-star I’d read were from 3 years ago. The food this morning was great, reasonably priced, and the service (thank you, Franklin!) put it over the top!!! Two adults and two kids all enjoyed their meals.

I came in, I was greeted professionally, And then this guy Quincy came over to assist me with my order. I’m guessing he was the waiter.

When he showed up, he was agitated when I asked questions about the menu the menu around and pointed to it as if I couldn’t alter anything off of the menu

So continue the order and the more time I took the more agitated he got and when I asked questions about a menu item which was turkey got even more agitated and then when he came back, that info was incorrect, so I asked another question and his body language said that he didn’t want to be there nor did he want me to be there

And I asked if I could have a black coffee and the answer was no, and then they asked if I was staying at the hotel meanwhile, the hotel key was in my hand

They ran out to follow me outside, but the damage was already done. Nobody wanted to me. Nobody wanted to be concerned with me I guess because I was the only one there.

I left and I will never return to this place and whoever this Quincy guy is he really needs to learn CustomerService

Our 1st trip to see the Chiefs game on 9-7-19 thru 9-9-19. Our stay at the Lexington Hotel was a good one. However, our service at PIER 1515 restaurant was horrible. The food was cold, I waited 30 minutes for a coffee refill. The waitress was so unorganized I couldn’t tell if she was working or on break. We asked her for some things (cheese, butter, cream etc.) and Some of the food that was ordered was forgotten . There was only one staff member in the restaurant Until about 9am. By that time the restaurant was full. Management should be more involved with their employees and a little teamwork would be nice. If they continue with this derive they will be out of business just like the waterfront stores on the strip.

The breakfast buffet was basic with scrambled eggs, dry sausage links, burnt bacon, overcooked potatoes, grits, crusty oatmeal, old fruit, expired yogurt, and a few toppings. The waitress we had didn’t even know they had an assortment of teas, just said “sweetened or unsweetened” and when asked about the types of tea she repeated the phrase “sweetened or unsweetened”. My husband got expired yogurt and once addressed with our waitress she said “Yeah” and walked off with the yogurt. Did not offer a new unexpired yogurt or to send over the manager to talk to us about it. Later we checked and they had removed the yogurt from the buffet. The buffet was $12.95 for garbage. I would and will never go here again for breakfast at the least.

I got the southern bowl and it was the grossest stuff I’ve ever had. $13 and the grits were flavorless and all it has was eggs and bacon on it which somehow they managed to cook bland bacon.
