I’m 57 years old. My parents took us here for dip cones when we were kids. When I lived across the street and I was making minimum wage at Albertsons at $3.35 an hour, this was my weekly treat when Chuck owned the place. Came down yesterday, had a bacon burger and small fry. It exceeded expectations for the money spent. Keep up the great job with this Boise treasure. A+

Pricing -Ouch! I went here grab lunch with my son. Now it’s been a minute since I’ve been here, but we each had a corn dog, I had a small onion ring, he had a large, he had a large shake and I had a medium and our meal came to $38 without tip. The food was excellent, the service is always good and the atmosphere today is the same as when I was a kid and it’s still great. I was just a little pricey shocked is all. Had we ordered a burger, chicken strips, etc….I’m thinking closer to the $50 for two people. Just something to be mindful of.

I ordered a bacon cheese burger $8.49 and made it a combo for $4.99. My total was $15.34. When I received my food, I got a double cheeseburger. I only ordered a single, and I also didn’t get bacon. I was super disappointed as I don’t like double patty burgers because theirs are big enough as a single. Had to throw half the meat away and didn’t get my bacon. I never eat here. The food was good but just sad I paid that much money and didn’t get what I ordered

I brought my son here after track practice yesterday. We hadn’t been here in months but it’s one of his favorite places and he worked hard this week. He ordered a cheeseburger with fries and huckleberry shake. Service was great and everything was ready quickly. He devoured it and was super happy.

I have been here so many times throughout my life, always getting ice cream. Portions are always to the max. But this week, we tried their chicken strips for the first time. Wow! So fresh and delicious. No over breaded, premade strips here. Absolutely fantastic! Such a great local restaurant. Always worth the trip.

This place has such a great vibe! I was thrilled to discover they now have their own ice cream at Albertsons. It’s been a few years since I last visited, and I decided to try the huckleberry burger—it was fantastic!
Despite the line, our food came out quickly. We stayed a few minutes after closing, and a staff member kindly opened the window to serve a cone to a mother and her young daughter who arrived 5 minutes after they closed the window. I was truly impressed by the level of service, which is hard to find these days.

We went through the drive through, we ordered 2 large double burger combos and a medium. 1 sandwich had modification of no pickle no tomato. All our meals had pickle and tomato. For those 3 items it was over 50.00. The food was okay. I rated 2 because this in my opinion is not a cheap order to mess up. And when you tip 20% that makes it over 60.00. I think more attention to detail is required. Ive been here many times and this has happened on more than one occasion so I decided to leave a review. But overall the food was decent
