They are printing money!
This place had a nice line at 1:30 but they were pushing out the dogs and stacking the cash like pros.
The standard hot with everything is perfect taste of Maine – relish, fried onions, and mustard. The fries were perfectly fried and salted.
The service could not have been more friendly. This place is a staple of summer. Yum!

This place has the best hot dogs I’ve ever had, hands down! Especially the hot dog with everything (fried onions, relish, and mustard). There’s always a long line, but service is fast as they make the food immediately and have it ready by the time you’re done paying
Definitely come here for lunch if you’re in town!

Inexpensive and YUMMY lunch! I kept seeing g this place recommended by bloggers and I am so glad we stopped by. My husband and I got 3 everything hotdogs, a classic, and a western, with a side of cheese fries. Everything was super good. Keep in mind this is a cash-only establishment.

An American classic! If you’re driving through town on a summer vacation, Wasses is a must stop establishment. Why go to some overpriced sit down restaurant for a $15 salad? Here, you can enjoy a couple of simply topped hot dogs and fries. Or, if you’re like me, try an assortment of toppings you won’t find at other places. Chili, baked beans, bacon, sauerkraut, and spicy relish are just some of the unique toppings you’ll find here. Trust me…these hot dogs are worth a try!

Amazing and very affordable! One of the few places open in the area on a Tuesday for lunch. We had two hot dogs, one with chilly and chilly fries. Two of us and under 15 bucks. You can’t find that anywhere anymore. The woman working were very nice just wish there were more places to sit. We sat across the street at Duncan Donuts.

FANTASTIC hot dogs. My hubby wishes he would have gotten 2 chili dogs. He’s still raving about them! Friendly service. They don’t have gluten free buns, but if you bring them one they will happily make your dog with it! Stop by Hannafords, pickup schars pack of gf hot dog buns and head on over to Wasses, you won’t be sorry!!!

This is a great little spot to have a nice lunch or meal with your family while down visiting the owls head area. As long as it’s only hot dogs you want for lunch. They’d probably do just a bun if asked. The hot dogs could be either a little thicker or a little bit longer, as they were a little on the small side, especially for the price. Other than that, everything was delicious. It cost roughly $9 per person to get a ‘petite’ hot dog, a small french fries, and a can of soda.

The only reason we come to Rockland, is to eat Wasses Hot Dogs! Please remember to bring cash as they don’t accept cards. We found this out recently, as after we ordered and handed her our debit card, she casually slides it back and says we don’t take those (she was so cool about it). We didn’t have any cash on us, so she pointed us to the nearest ATM and then said go enjoy your lunch first before it cools off. Wow! Not too many places would be so kind.
The food is excellent and the service is superb, I would definitely recommend this place!
