I was in downtown Tampa for work and was able to meet up with a friend for dinner. When we arrived we were seated promptly even though we didn’t have a reservation. The restaurant was very busy for a Thursday which I considered to be a good sign. We started with the fried brie which was delicious! My friend ordered the butternut squash gnocchi and I ordered the short rib pasta with burrata cheese. Everything tasted amazing. We would have had dessert, but we were so full. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Happy little accident on a work trip. It’s been hard to find better food options in the metro area – this was the winner in the 4 day stop.

On Swann is hands down one of the best dining experiences in Tampa. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, stylish, and welcoming — the perfect mix of upscale and relaxed. The atmosphere feels modern but still comfortable enough for a date night, girls’ brunch, or even a business dinner.
The food? Incredible. Every dish was beautifully plated and packed with flavor. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The brunch options are next-level, and dinner absolutely delivers — no misses at the table. The cocktails were just as impressive and perfectly balanced.
Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the staff genuinely made us feel taken care of. Overall, On Swann sets the bar high for Tampa restaurants. I’ll definitely be back — and recommending it to everyone I know!

We went for brunch at On Swann last Sunday. We booked our reservation in advance. The roadside parking was full, so we parked in the garage nearby.
When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted at the register and seated at our table. We were greeted by our server Caroline with menus.After checking out the menu, we started our order with appetizers, which included Italian Doughnuts, Croissant, Truffle Fries and for drinks we ordered Sober Mule, Watermelon-Strawberry, and coffee.
For brunch, we ordered Avocado Toast, Mushroom Toast, Chicken Sandwich, Gemelli Pasta and Smoked Salmon. Soon we got our order for appetizers and drinks. From the appetizers, Truffle Fries were well made, Italian Doughnuts were also a good start to the brunch.

One of my favorite restaurants in south Tampa. The tuna crudo is a must have appetizer with flavors that work so well together in every bite. We had the steak frites with the chimichurri bone marrow, the roasted chicken, and short rib pasta. All three dishes were delicious. Always looking forward to my next meal there.

Where to begin? First the staff here is top notch, world class service! I tried out several dishes from the menu and all had that wow factor. I started with the Kale salad which was absolutely fantastic. I loved the candied pecans which added a very nice touch and the kale was done perfectly. Next came the butternut squash soup. This is Fall in a bowl, amazing stuff! Then I went with the hot chicken which was less spicy than what I thought it would be but had very nice flavor and the chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly. I also tried the beef carpaccio which was very enjoyable. I finished my meal with the bread pudding which I highly recommend. On Swann also features a beautiful atmosphere which felt laid back and comfortable but upscale at the same time. The dishes are also presented well and one can appreciate the craftsmanship in the way the dishes are platted.

Great restaurant that’s been around a while in Hyde Park Village. Hyde Park has several places to eat, but I would say this is the spot for understated elegance and top-notch food. We went for lunch today and I had their famous kale salad with brussels sprouts and some grilled chicken. My friend was in the mood for a burger and a beer. It did not disappoint on either meal. Everything was prepared well and tasted wonderful. Service was great too. This is a lovely place to go on a date, celebrate a birthday, or just enjoy a nice evening out. I would say the clientele is more mature and it’s a quieter place than other establishments in Hyde Park Village.

Had a late lunch there today and as always, had a wonderful time. Alonso was our incredible server and was my favorite thus far! Very attentive & personable. Always looking forward to the next time there. Not pictured was the Chenin Blanc that was not bad. Would love to see a higher end Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough on the list in the future.

This was my second visit to the Tampa location and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. The menu is full of culinary artistry and not too overwhelming. I had an excellent dirty martini and steak frites as my entree. Both appetizers were so tasty and unique.
It was my boyfriend’s birthday and they wrote a handwritten card and printed a “birthday” menu which was a sweet and thoughtful touch to feel special.

On swann continues to be my favorite restaurant in tampa- the hospitality and service and food go beyond !!! Morgan and Megan are superstars here- always great to come back to dine here. Everything on the menu is superb, can’t go wrong with anything you order here.
