The food was generally tasty, with the orange chicken and egg rolls being particularly enjoyable. However, one issue was that some of the sweet biscuits were undercooked.

This space is half clean and a dry atmosphere. I ordered chicken fried rice with extra chicken and green onions. The chicken was not chopped up and very old. It looked like they put two whole un-chopped thighs in the rice. They put literally two small pieces of green onions. The egg rolls were not fresh. I would never eat at this place unless you don’t want fresh food. The service is like “what do ya want” to say the least. Very disappointed

I was looking for new places around us. I read some of the newer reviews that were positive, so I had some good vibes about the restaurant. It’s in a strip mall behind a car wash. They have a small dining room. It was busy when we went in and got busier as we ate, that’s a good sign people coming and going. We had the orange chicken and the PuPu plate as an appetizer. The Pu Pu plate was big enough to feed both of us before we got to the Orange Beef. The food was fresh, and the teriyaki chicken was grilled perfectly. I would recommend this place and I’ll be back. Teriyaki chicken from the appetizer menu are delicious we made them and some dumplings out whole meal.

Was going to place an online order on their website but noticed a service fee at checkout, so I sent my husband and son to order in person instead.
Since we don’t live in the neighborhood full-time, we weren’t sure where to find good Chinese food. I’m so glad we found this place—the food is delicious, and the lady taking orders is very nice and fast.
We had the Chicken Lo Mein, a large Hot & Sour Soup, the General Tso’s Chicken dinner special (which comes with Wonton Soup), fried fish, and fried cream wontons.
We enjoyed everything and highly recommend this place!

Tried it once before and was ok, this last time was horrible the taste wasn’t there and I got a simple peppersteak and it was 90% onions and bell peppers. Tried one of my sons chicken nuggets and tasted like it was fried in old grease. Last time going. Place us pretty dingy aswell.

I normally love this restaurant and I wonder if they changed owners or cooks or if it’s just because it’s New Year’s Day and it was slow? But I ordered sesame chicken and I order a spring rolls. Every piece of the sesame chicken was tough and you could tell old and the rice you could tell was heated up from maybe the day before I don’t know. The spring rolls were great on the outside but mush on the inside after spending almost $18. I’m pretty disappointed and may never go back.

I stopped in on my way to work and ordered the black pepper chicken. I specifically said that I wanted the dinner portion and she said “yes”, that is what I got. It annoyed me to get to work and find out that I was given some combo with rice. Totally disgusting and not what I wanted. NEVER GOING BACK…. FOOD WAS HORRIBLE AND VERY DRY…. I also told them that the phone number was not listed on Google Maps and she suggested other places for me to find it…. NOPE

Moved to Galveston the first of the year, and I have lamented the lack of edible Chinese food on the island. We ventured to Texas City today and before we left, I used Google Maps to find all the Chinese restaurants in the area. Found and chose this one based on the recent reviews. They did not steer us wrong on this!
First, it is in a non-de script shopping center that doesn’t look too inviting. Nevertheless, we entered and due to the time of day, all of the help were eating lunch, so I felt a little guilty interrupting. They invited us in and made us feel welcome. It’s a fairly small dining room with probably around a dozen tables. They also appear to do a pretty good takeout business as well.
Anyway, after being seated, our waiter was a boy (son of owner) about 10-11 years old. He was masked, polite, and professional. He knew all about the food as well, with good descriptions as well! Since it was a little before 3pm they were still running off the lunch menu, even on a Saturday! I ordered General Tso chicken with WonTon soup, and my wife ordered the Coconut Shrimp and Spring Roll. The food came out in less than 10 minutes both Hot and FRESH! Everything was perfect with no complaints on anything. Our waiter made sure we had everything we needed, including refills. VERY impressed with his maturity and professionalism!
When I paid, I was assured that he kept all of the tip. Got extra from us…and we will return.
I took a photo of my plate as an after thought, and still had it on macro, so the quality is lacking. But, as you can see, for a combo lunch…there is a LOT of food!

The place wasn’t much to look at but the food was really good.

There is no way I’m not going back. Tasty and priced right with ample portions. Good service from pleasant and knowledgeable staff. I’m going with four stars because the enterior decor is a little tired and one of the booths is torn up. Soft fabric can not be adequately cleaned. The vegetables were also a little dried out. You can tell they’re hand cut. Probably prepared/cut during a lull earlier in the day. Same thing you find at a salad bar-no big deal. The sauce is flavorful, the rice is moist, and the spring rolls hot and crispy. Their neat trick is keeping the battered chicken crispy without overcooking it My wife ordered sesame chicken. It was well sauced and the chicken had a nice little crunch to it. The hot and sour Soup was interesting. It was the first time I had ever had it with pieces of meat in it and some onion. It was tasty. It’s worth trying.
