Their sandwiches are huge and have a lot of filling. Quick moving line. Food tastes fresh. Just not my type, I have had Italian sandwiches from a renowned place in Midtown and while the portion was smaller there I felt much more satisfied.

Amazing family run Italian deli. From their viral sandwiches you may have seen on social media to their wraps, salads, specialty imported products and catering. You seriously can’t go wrong when you are in the neighborhood. As a chicken Caesar junkie i have yet to find a better one around. The # 4 and #10 also favorites of mine. We use them for holiday catering and always get rave reviews from our guests.

Stopped by yesterday because I saw someone else post a delicious sandwich picture and when I got there was told this sandwich was no longer on the menu. However someone came from the kitchen area and told me it would be no issue to make if that’s what I wanted. They were very friendly and the sandwich was amazing and extremely filling for both lunch and dinner (the 10in version I believe). Will definitely be coming back

Truly the best deli ever run by the nicest family. I have catered birthdays and holidays from Vilardo’s and people consistently rave about the food. Highly recommend the fresh mozz, the roast beef sandwich, the chicken cutlet and the Italian. I also love the lentil salad and the chopped salads. You can’t go wrong!

Nestled in a beautiful suburban corner inside a repurposed home, Vilardos is a joy to visit. We were immediately greeted with similes and a welcome. Asked if it was our first time visiting and everyone behind the counter offered their advice on what to get. It was a jersey strong family vibe. I’m here for it.
We ended up getting their special: chicken cutlet with burrata, tomato, arugula, and balsamic vinaigrette spread. It was incredible . You could taste each individual ingredient in every bite. It all tasted fresh and had great contrasts of textures. It was delicious. Would definitely get again.
Inside the place was big with wood paneling decor. They had a number of tables in the back and parking.
Highly recommend a visit if in the mood for a sandwich.
