L’Antica Trattoria 1930 was one of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at. The lemon pasta with shrimp was absolutely amazing and highly recommended. The atmosphere was very pleasant and fun and the service was great throughout our meal. While the prices are a bit expensive the food and the overall experience were definitely worth it. It is a fantastic spot for a high quality meal and we would love to go back

First of all you need to make reservations in advance.
We were welcomed with a glass of prosseco and some amuse buche.
You should also try their bread with olive oil and salt.
We ordered calamari and red prawns for appetizers. They were both good but red prawns were impressive.
For main we had cacio e pepe & see bass. Excelent.
And for desert we had chef fantasy pastiera&tiramisu. But we also get a profiterol for free.
The ambiance was great. The wine was spectacular. Our host Antonino made us feel very good and welcomed and did not rush us.
Make sure not to eat when you come here because you will be full.

We had an amazing dining experience at L’Antica Trattoria! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and while it’s a bit more expensive, it’s absolutely worth every euro. The food was outstanding: fresh, authentic, and full of flavor.
Our waiter, Luigi, made the evening unforgettable. He was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. His recommendations were spot-on, especially the calamari, it was the best we’ve ever had.
From start to finish, the little touches made the meal special: complimentary bites to kick things off, incredible olive oil, a lemon pasta that blew me away, my wife had a special concoction of clams, mussels, and tomatoes, and a perfect pastry at the end that truly deserves a chef’s kiss.
Highly recommend this place if you’re in Sorrento: delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, and service that goes above and beyond.

Must place to eat! My BF and I, both cooks, had an amazing lunch and dinner in L’Antica Trattoria this summer and we can assure you is the best place to eat in Sorrento. All food was amazing and the service truly makes you feel like a family. We had a creamy lemon pasta with prawns, a beautiful pasta a la nerano, a very well cook lobster with coconut cream, for dessert: Tiramisu and Ricotta and Pear, tasty, unforgettable dinner, thank you nonno Aldo and team!

So good that I went back the next day. I went there for a tasting lunch, just after arriving Sorrento. The flavours, presentation, friendliness from everyone, so efficient and yes, just sooo good. Told then I’d be back for dinner, but was so full after the lunch so had to wait until next day. Did a tasting menu of dinner. Also so good.
