I have never experienced anything like we did trying to eat at Shu’s Kitchen a few days ago. The owner made the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld seem like Mr. Rogers. Rude is too nice a word to use for this restaurant owner. She attempted to tell us exactly what we needed to order without regard to food allergies that are in my family. After explaining to her that my family has to eat Gluten Free she told us that the breading she uses would not make them sick. They wouldn’t even be able to see it. She got upset at the idea that they could not have unbleached flour. After all this she started running down our armed services. She said, “The Army is for losers. They let anyone in.” Then she went on some more and said, “The Marines are a bunch of pea-brains. They are always causing trouble”. Amazing. I will never set foot in their again.
