Finally tried the Royal Mahal down the road after hearing lots of good things about the place. The food was on point especially if you can handle a bit of spice! Very good value as well as we went with the mega platter along with Dum Briyani and Afghan lamb – all succulently cooked- couldn’t comment on the dessert as we were too full unfortunately. Definitely worth a visit!

Our first time at the Royal Mahal and it didn’t disappoint! The lamb chops are a must try, but I was torn between trying them and the dynamite chicken….will try that next time. The mocktails were AMAZING, and the chilli naan was pretty good too

Had a fantastic meal at Royal Mahal Norbury — the food was full of flavour, freshly cooked, and beautifully presented. The staff were warm and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I also got 20% off using the Hungry Table app, which was a great bonus! Definitely coming back again soon.

I love the dynamite chicken but wish they gave a bit more chicken. All the drinks I got here were nice too, and the food is yummy! The San Sebastián cheesecake and lotus milk cake are so good.

I recently paid £240 in cash at this restaurant, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. I felt the prices were unreasonably high for what was provided.
I ordered two large mixed platters (£68 each, totalling £136), four portions of samosas, and four jugs of mango lassi. Even with all of this, the final bill should not have reached £240. The pricing felt excessive and unjustified.
Despite ordering a substantial amount of food, no bread was offered, which added to the overall dissatisfaction. The service also did not meet my expectations.
Based on this experience, I do not intend to visit again.

Great place! We went here tonight for my dads birthday and the service was fantastic, the food was amazing and the kulfi chef didn’t disappoint!
