Very close to the middle of Kudam at the quiet street you can find the interesting Vietnamese restaurant.

The place is very pleasant and the atmosphere is welcomed, authentic furniture and very fast and efficient service.

The meals were fresh, testy, variety was huge.

The soup was a little bit warm , not hot as expected, the minus – very small peaces of calamaris inside.

The price reasonable.

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I’m certain it won’t be my last. I came here for lunch with a friend, and overall, the experience was very pleasant. The interior stands out—beautifully designed, warm, and relaxing. It’s the kind of space that makes you want to take your time and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed.

The staff were friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. However, I did feel slightly uncomfortable when it seemed like a tip was being expected. Personally, I prefer to give a tip when I feel genuinely satisfied with the service, not because it’s subtly (or overtly) encouraged. I’m not fond of this American-style tipping culture creeping in, especially when it’s not part of local customs.

As for the food, it was good—nicely plated and made with quality ingredients—but the flavors didn’t quite match my taste. Still, it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The overall environment and service made the experience enjoyable.

In short, this is a lovely place to relax and share a meal. I’ll definitely return, likely to try something new from the menu and enjoy the ambiance again. Hopefully without the awkward tip expectations.

Really cute spot. Great break from German food! The food is authentic, they do use a lot more veggies in the dishes than they would in Vietnam but more veggies is never bad!

We had such a great experience at Cao Cao Berlin! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and beautifully presented.
The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome.
We loved it so much that we came back two nights in a row, something we almost never do on trips.
That says a lot about how good both the food and the atmosphere are.
Highly recommended if you’re in Berlin!

We recently visited this place and it was amazing in all aspects – food service as well as atmosphere. In terms of food, we ordered Tofu Chien Com which was their daily special and Mailing drink. The taste of both was quite great. The atmosphere looked quite authentic Vietnamese. The place was very cozy and artistically decorative. The staff were also very kind and nice. It was easily the best Vietnamese restaurant in the neighborhood. I would definitely recommend that this is worth a visit.
