This place is a staple to visit! Food is good! We tried the pizza cuz everyone says how good it is and they were right. My husband had the fish and chips and it was fresh and delish! Atmosphere maybe a little loud on a live band night but fun! It has that rustic ole charm, we loved it! We will def be back as we like to visit Jackson often!

Fish and chips are amazing. Crunchy on the outside and so tender/juicy inside. My wife had the snitzel and the same thing. We took a couple of their pizzas home and wow, amazing even ice cold. Definitely a great stop on your travels.

*Update: Came back 2 years after our first visit to have a meal this time. The food was amazing. I see why it was just as crowded this time as it was the first time. First off, save room for dessert. Specifically, the creme brulee cheesecake. Who knows how long it will be on the menu. My friend said it sounded good but she loves chocolate cake so she ordered that. She agreed that her cake was good but the cheesecake, phenomenal. It might be the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. Anyway, I had the baked haddock for dinner…SO good. Onion rings and pureed butternut squash were yummy too. Drinks delicious! Our server had been there over 30 years and was fabulous. She even brought me a pair of reading glasses because I had forgotten mine! Definitely a must go when in town!

We stopped in just for a drink but I was the pizzas are delicious. Holds a lot of people but looks like reservations are accepted and recommended. We snagged a seat at the the bar though.

My cousin always would talk about the Shannon door and how much he loved it there (miss you Jim ) so we figured we had to check it out. We’ve been twice now and will keep coming back. The atmosphere here is really special. Not sure if it’s because I can feel my cousin’s presence or not but it’s definitely worth checking out.

Live music and delicious food. This place is great. We always order apps and pizzas. There pizzas are on the smaller size so everyone usually orders their own. The buffalo wings are fantastic. Been coming here every year a couple of times the past 15 years, and I can’t wait to visit again. My kids love coming here. You should definitely visit and have a drink and/or food next time your in the area.

We love Shannon Door! We’re from out of state and found this spot on our first night. We loved it so much we came back for dinner every night the rest of our stay. We had the burger, shepherds pie, haddock, wings, artichoke hearts, and a cheese pizza. Haddock was definitely our favorite but everything was delicious.
Waitstaff is the best, they are incredibly busy but never lack in performance.
The atmosphere is really our favorite bit! The decor is that of a pub that’s been around for decades. Stuff all over the walls to look at. They have live music sometimes which also adds to the ambiance.
Overall a fantastic place to spend an evening. We didn’t want to leave!

Took my Girlfriend there for her birthday dinner and they sat us in super fast on a busy Sunday night. The Cauliflower Poppers where great! They had this very light breading on them! The sauce that comes with them is tasty as well. We looked around and saw everyone ordering pizza so we had to try them out! The pizza is amazing ! I love how they give you cheese to sprinkle on yourself! And honestly the price is super good we paid 42$ for A root beer float and a couple of sodas a App and 2 pizzas! It’s way cheaper then Applebee’s and the quality of food is way better ! Plus there’s live music ! Riley the musician is super talented! Would definitely come back in the near future 🙂

Came by looking for a dinner and a beer and maybe to catch some NFL. This place has such a local vibe. The staff are friendly as well as the customers. The cottage pie was great and I ended up staying long enough to catch some live music too. My server was a really nice guy I believe his name was Brendan. Def recommend
