We tried a variety of donuts and weren’t disappointed. They are made to order and served warm. We broke up ours into 5 pieces so we could all sample them. We’re visiting from NJ and planning on bringing a dozen home! Give them a try, you’re gonna love them!

We went twice over the past week on vacation. We are still thinking about all those amazing, fresh, made to order donuts. The choices are endless. You can make your own from a large choice of toppings or order off the menu. A warm frosted donut topped with your favorite childhood cereal? They’re like mini birthday cakes!!
Super friendly staff, awesome food and quick service. When you’ve had your fill of donuts (if there is such a concept) switch over to an Açaí bowl, cause they have those too.

I don’t know if I can accurately describe the flavor of these donuts. They are amazing! We are huge fans of another donut place in the area but these may have edged them out of the top spot. The staff is super friendly and the choice of flavors is fantastic. This will be a must stop on our next vacations.

When your headed to the beach, do yourself and favor and stop in Ocean Pines to visit The Hungry Donut. You’ll be so happy you did. The donuts are fireworks in your mouth. They are made to order, coming out warm and full of deliciousness. The staff is super friendly and make you feel like family!! Best hidden treasure on the shore!! Highly recommend!!

Super fresh made to order donuts. Fun flavors that are good breakfast conversation starters but you can also opt for something more traditional. They even gave my son a free “Old Bay” donut while we waited for our order. Very kind and friendly staff. Support local businesses!

I was driving down from out of town and saw these close to highway so I added a detour and I am so glad I did! The flavor combos were incredible, they let me customize one, they were so kind, and there is nothing like some warm donuts on a long car ride. I will be stopping again!

Our family has been vacationing in Ocean Pines for a few years, yet every year we forget to stop by The Hungry Donut, until this year. For best results, be sure to get there early after they open. Donuts are made to order which is pretty neat, however this may add to the issue we saw with one flavor, the Cotton Candy, as most of the topping ended up on the bottom of the box (see photo). You can create your own donut flavor or choose from some interesting flavor combinations, which we did the latter and they turned out well, but for a smaller business we didn’t quite see that pop out feature on the donuts. Pricing seems average and there is a good atmosphere within the shop. Perhaps we may try again after another trip or two.

Fractured prune is good but the hungry donut is great. I find it’s worth a few extra minutes to drive across the bridge and visit the hungry donut for our morning sustenance. Hot and fresh with great flavor options. This is now a regular stop on our annual vacation to OCMD.

Visited around 7:45 am in Saturday in June and just made it in before the crowds of people who followed. I think there were 24 choices of donut flavors to choose from. Mist notable by look was the strawberry shortcake, the peanut butter candy, and the fruit loops loopy donut. I stuck with the French toast which is my favorite flavor in other breakfast spots. We chose, they wrote our choices on the box. The staff was super friendly and let us try a few flavors while we waited…SCORE for customer service!
The donuts were fried right in front of us and after they were cooked they placed them in the box, took them to the dip and shake line and prepared our donuts. After a short time, we were walking out of the store with hot donuts.
The kids rate this place A+ . delicious and fun flavors. Parents give it an A+ for friendly service and waiting samples. A dozen cost us about $13 dollars and that was a win too. 9 people and enough for all. The donuts have an intense sweetness that for me was a little much but no one else seemed to agree with me.
If your looking for a beach treat for the whole family, put this on your list. We were happy to try out this new small business and will visit again for that reason alone.
