Live entertainment most nights, Wednesdays is classic rock with Ron’s Garage band, very talented musicians playing great 70’s & 80’s rock and roll..
He was real nice and did what he could to keep up. We blame the management for not having the staff to run a decent restaurant. We got our food 5 minutes before our drinks and the kid’s water. The fish and chips were good, I got a good amount of fish and the fries were pretty good. My wife was happy with her chicken quesadilla and my son liked his poke. The clam chowder was so-so.
All in all it was good because of the waiter, the location and some pretty good food, if there was competition, I would pass.
Fav new place!
.. EVEN THOUGH THEY WEREN’T BUSY! I’ve seen this place packed before, with people standing, every table full, and we got quicker and friendlier service! The rest of our family arrived about 20 minutes later. Not a single name was called to be seated in that entire time… None of the people waiting ahead of us had been seated. There were plenty of empty tables inside and outside. EMPTY TABLES. I would say I saw maybe 11 tables of people who were actually being served food. The rest of the restaurant was EMPTY. NONE OF THE PEOPLE WAITING HAD BEEN CALLED TO BE SEATED. NOT A SINGLE ONE. Our family members went several times to find what was going on and why it was taking so long, and no one was even available to answer us or provide reasoning for the long wait. The hostess was MIA. We ended up leaving, because if you can’t at least seat us and bring us some waters or even be there to answer our questions about the wait, then I’m pretty sure actually ordering and getting food would be impossible and just another reason to leave a crappy review. There were probably over 20-30 tables available. But we got to sit out front, waiting to just be seated. I’m assuming this was probably because of a staffing shortage, but anyone in Customer Service should have a policy or system in place to accommodate your patrons when there is going to be a long wait. A table with a heater, maybe some waters and some bread until a waiter/ waitress could take our order would have fixed this problem… we would have at least been able to sit at a table together and socialized but nope.. empty tables were not available to us. Service with a smile and basic information was not on the menu today between 1:30pm and 2:15pm. Shame on the Galley. They completely LOST an entire family who has been coming for decades. It was THAT BAD! There’s no excuse for what happened today!
