We came in after a snowy storm for a birthday dinner and had such a lovely experience. Our server was incredibly sweet and patient (sadly didn’t get her name). The food was great, and I had requested a birthday desert with a candle then I was genuinely surprised when they brought out a birthday dessert with a candle—on the house! Didn’t think they would go above and beyond with my request and they did just that! Such a thoughtful gesture. This was my second time here and would definitely recommend.

I wanted to go to Firebirds because I hadn’t been in a while. The food was delicious but it wasn’t as hot as I would have liked. I ordered the Mint Condition which is a Spirit-Free drink but very tart. I also ordered the Salmon with mixed vegetables and a loaded baked potato. The potato wasn’t as hot, but the salmon and vegetables were very good. We also got the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls and they were delicious .
My daughter ordered the same except she had shrimp. Her drink was the smoked pineapple water. My grandson had grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and fruit.

I’ve been to this Firebirds several times before, and usually the food and experience are great. Unfortunately, this visit was a bit disappointing.
I ordered the aged ribeye, and it just wasn’t what I expected. The steak came out warm at best — the butter on top wasn’t melted, and my baked potato was cold inside with the cheese not even melted. When I sent it back, the reheating seemed to make the steak worse, which was really disappointing.
On a positive note, the drinks were amazing, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect as always. I’ve even celebrated a birthday here before, so I know Firebirds can do better. Hopefully next time the food matches the great service and vibe they’re known for.

Disappointing Dish Despite Fresh Ingredients
I had high expectations for this dish at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, especially given how fresh the ingredients looked. Unfortunately, the execution fell far short. The pasta lacked flavor overall, noticeably underseasoned and completely missing salt. It felt flat and lifeless.
The shrimp were particularly disappointing. Poorly cooked, with an unpleasant texture that took away from the dish instead of elevating it. This was surprising, considering how central they were to the plate.
Service was generally good, but came across as slightly arrogant, which did not help improve the experience. Overall, it was a letdown, and not a place I would return to, especially given the potential this dish clearly had.

I had the most amazing Sunday afternoon lunch with my friend at this firebirds! Daisy was so good! I truly enjoyed her attentiveness and her positive energy and it really felt like she knew what we needed before we even knew we needed it. It was busy that day so hard to please everyone but she was truly the BEST BARTENDER EVER!

We went to a 17 year old birthday gathering. To his surprise he went well over the number of expected guests. He spoke with management and they met more accommodations to the best of their ability. They were very professional and served with a spirit of excellence.
It was my first visit, and I was so amazed. The FIREBIRD ROASTED CHICKEN is award winning to me. It looked great, but the taste was better….huge in flavor. It was so tender, juicy, and fresh. It will be hard for me to try anything else, but I will (in the future). It was GREAT!!!
The mashed potatoes were creamy with a great garlic flavor. Broccoli was perfectly cooked. Others at our table, had the honey glazed chicken, 3 entree salmon and shrimp, and appetizer wings and baked potato as entree. The cesar salads were fresh and plentiful.
The only disappointed was the wings, but it was because our preference is not fried foods. Our waitress expressed it would be smoked but then a quick splash fry. So it was tried but not preferred. The texture was too hard and dry for his palate. Nevertheless, he was offered the option of ordering something different, but he decided not to. The item was taken off if the menu. Thank you for understanding.
Our waitress was Carla. O so courteous. A sweet and gentle spoken waitress. Patience truly is one of her virtues, and she knows that menu. YES! She was helpful in my meal choice. She hit it on target. We had an austic child with us. He was active but she never responded as though nothing was going on. We highly commend her service. That really made our evening grand.
Hats off to all the waitresses and management for touching the heart of a young man whose desire was to unite friends and family for his special occasion. You did very well.
My husband and I will return and share the greatness with others.

Everything was pretty good! The only thing that was not up to par was the women’s bathroom. It needs an overhaul. Dark and creepy and no toilet paper in all the stalls other than one. Other than that all else was well.

I would like to applaud our waitress for her pleasant and professional demeanor. She had a wonderful sense of timing—giving our table space when we needed it to decide, while also knowing exactly when to check in. Her attentiveness felt natural and never intrusive.
I truly appreciate having confident, experienced women hosting our table—they truly understand the assignment and create such a welcoming atmosphere. I also noticed and appreciated how seamlessly the ladies worked together, ensuring our food was delivered promptly even if our main host was assisting another table.
It made for a truly wonderful birthday lunch experience.

Been many times. Great overall experience and good food options with great wood smoke flavor. 9/10 times the waitstaff are phenomenal! Some more coffee options vs just coffee would be awesome. Late options as an example. Espresso bare minimum. What better than that after a big meal!

No matter if you’re dining in NC, FL or MD you will enjoy the same delicious steaks and parmesan crusted chicken plus EXTRA strong cocktails! Staff was accommodating and helpful, atmosphere always inviting no matter the time of day. Afternoons typically are more quiet vs late evening dinners but for either you will have a great time.
