Grass-fed local beef burgers & homemade potato chips, fries & onion rings in an old-fashioned space.

I came here for lunch based upon a suggestion from a colleague who is local. So glad that I tried it! When ordering you get the option of different types of buns, sizes of patty, and optional styles of burgers including build your own. I also loved the fact that they had battered mushrooms. One of my favorites! Lots of other sides are available too. They offer many different shake flavors. Will have to try one of those on my next trip. Overall a great first experience!

Although the specialty selection of buns and variety of ways to dress a burger, it’s not enough. The beef is overcooked to dry on the burgers. The burgers should come with a side, even if the entree price were a bit higher. The chile smothered fries were good tasting until we saw the bug. After showing the bug to the staff, they gave a $5.00 refund and a punch card for a free burger. It’s a gamble.

Great fast burger and shake! We enjoyed the homemade chips. Dog friendly if you sit on the patio, and they sold us a $0.01 burger patty for our pup. Service was very friendly and attentive. Fun flavor options on the shakes.

Burger had good flavor, girl at the counter was polite & food was made quickly. I was surprised by the lack of fries in the container. Both my husband and I were still hungry an hour later

Great place for an amazing hamburger! Their beef is homegrown not far from the restaurant. I had the City Slicker (burger patty, ham, pineapple and teriyaki sauce), you choose the size of your burger (1/4, 1/3, & 1/2), choose your type of bun (brioche, potato, pretzel and gluten free).
You can’t go wrong with these choices!
I also had a strawberry shake that was amazing!

If you like extra-well done burgers and terrible customer service come here! I had this a few years ago and loved it! Not the same. I had issues with my online order (which made me put my address in 4 times) and wanted to clarify I had everything. The lady working rolled her eyes and read back my order. Then I asked the difference between potato spuds and fries and got the most rude, sarcastic answer ever. She was grumpy and annoyed with a real question. No line. She had no reason to be so rude. I legitimately cried after the conversation. Never in my life have I had such poor customer service. Small portions, expensive. Never returning. Bonus: they spelled my name wrong on the box to my ONLINE order. They couldn’t even take the time to spell their customers’ names correctly. What little care they have.

Great menu options. Everything we had was very delicious. The green chili did not disappoint. The fries were the best we’ve had in a while. I will definitely be making a trip back.

Great spot for a real burger, and you’ve got plenty of options for how you’d like it. They get their beef from a local ranch and the fries/chips are killer.
Besides water they also have plenty of sodas made with real cane sugar. Their black cherry certainly had a kick to it, assuming you don’t prefer tea, coffee, or water.
I definitely recommend Bunk House if you’re in the mood for a good burger.

What a delicious little gem! The reviews were spot on, this Ma & Pa shop is truly worth a visit. You can tell they really know what they’re doing in the kitchen.
We ordered the Caballero on a brioche bun with cheese curds, and the Double Bar Diamond on a pretzel bun with broomsticks. Both were excellent, but the broomsticks were our favorite side. They were crispy, flavorful, and just a bit more memorable than the (still very tasty) cheese curds.
We also tried the lavender shake after reading a review that raved about it, and it lived up to the hype. It’s a seasonal flavor, so if it’s available, definitely give it a try!
The staff were incredibly friendly, greeting us with smiles and kind hello’s. They even brought out a puppy patty for our dog, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The food came out quickly, within just a few minutes. We’re visiting from out of town, but we’ll definitely be back before we leave. It’s that good!

Neither of our burgers was made the way they were ordered, and they were both dry and missing signature ingredients. Genuinely, the quality of the burgers made me think this was just something they pulled out of a drawer before closing time. My husband asked for a refund on the burgers because paying $50 for two inedible burgers and a couple of sides is pretty unreasonable, but they basically told us tough luck.
Overall, there are better burger places in town, and especially in this economy, if you’re grabbing food to-go, I wouldn’t recommend Bunkhouse. It’s better to find a place that will either get it right the first time or make it right when you ask them to.
