Yes ✅..yes ✅ ..YES ✅!!! Al’s Cafe checks all the boxes!!! Good food, pretty extensive menu options! Great service (with a smile). And it’s a nice, chill environment!
The flour chips are delicious and a must try IMO. If you prefer hot/spicier salsa -order the Josh sauce!!! It’s absolutely wonderful on anything! Honestly everything I’ve ordered here is fantastic!!! My usual order is a Josh burrito (and be prepared to take home at least half …it’s huge!!!!) but this time I had to try a new menu item -the ENCHARITO with black olives and pico!!! I hope it becomes a permanent menu item because it was incredibly tasty!!!
If you are anywhere close …check out Al’s Cafe it’s definitely worth it!!!! (I will continue to make the drive from Wichita!!!)

I am born and raised in California so I’ve had authentic Mexican food. Their food though was not authentic. I am always willing to try everything at least once. The service was amazing though. The overall experience was great it was just the food that wasn’t the greatest. I’ve had worst but I have had way better. The chilli verde was red when it is supposed to be green. Now I can overlook that. But the taste was poor. I ate half and was not able to finish it my brother wasn’t able to 1/4 of the meal because he did not like it.

My daughter and grand kids took me there for lunch today…about an hour’s drive for us. She’s always been super impressed with the place. The food was excellent! The service, however, leaves a lot to be desired. The woman who served us was rude and unprofessional. She treated the locals completely different…much like the service you would expect anywhere else. As good as the food was, I won’t be making a return trip.

We have been going to this place for a couple years but tonight was our last time the service was beyond poor our food came out cold we were not drinking but the waitress was on top of tables drinking once I finally got a ticket to pay my bill and leave a review she ripped the kiosk out of my hand we will never be back and certainly tell all of our friends and family

Does not take debit or credit cards. Very important because it is at least 6 miles to the nearest ATM. Must be great food because a train stopped on the tracks and the engineer and another guy walked over for a bite to eat.
After a drive to the ATM and back I enjoyed a good meal. Chips do not come with the meal but order some of the flour chips. Enjoyed it very much.
