Felt like I walked into a cool 50s diner. This place is amazing. Its clean, the servers are friendly what more could you ask for? Our server was Nick, he was super friendly! He made us feel right at home. The food is amazing. A variety of menu items for even the picky person. Their milkshakes are thick and taste amazing. I can’t say enough about this place!

There was no wait for seating. Its a seat yourself place. They have booths tables and counter seating available. We were taken care of as soon as we sat down which was nice cause we were on a time limit.
Ordered burger fries and a chocolate peanut butter shake. Everything was very good. Food was hot and the shake was the icing on the cake for the meal. Try it out if you get to Nashville.

The Elliston Place Soda Shop is a lovely gem in Nashville. If you want some tasty morsels and a classic environment you should come by for an amazing meal.
The original soda fountain is a treat serving up all sorts of classic sodas and ice cream. You can even ask for a mini tour of the soda fountain and learn why soda jerks got their name.
You can also try the southern classic luncheon plate “meat and three” where you choose a protein and three southern sides! They also have a rotating protein for each day of the week. The chicken and dumplings was tasty and flavorful!
The staff is super friendly and the food is great. Worth the trip. And Lynn was our server – props to her!!! Thanks so much- we will be back

Great place for breakfast and lunch! Our server Amber was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with the menu as always! She gave her opinion about what menu items we asked about and it made our decision so much easier! We decided on the French Toast ( HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and also on the Burger! We watched her not only navigate her section which was full but she was also helping other servers run food and drinks! She has waited on us several times and we absolutely love her! We come to The Soda Shop every time we are in town! It’s a MUST!

I am a child of the 70-80’s so walking into this place brought back the nostalgia of the diners that use to be on every corner of where I grew up. The staff were friendly and attentive. Had the “Meat & Three” and chose the pot roast with creamed corn, cucumber salad, mashed potatoes, and corn bread. Of course had to try their “Favorite Soda” and a Milk Shake. Food was basic but good, but the milkshake stole the show!!

This is the best place!! Great Soda Shop, love the atmosphere!! The staff are super friendly, nice clean building. Food was Great! They have regular soda shop food and daily plate specials. The catfish had great flavor, fries, tots and okra were crispy like it should be. The hot fudge brownie Sunday was Awesome!!! I didn’t know this was here and have been in this neighborhood many times. They do have a small parking lot on the side which was nice and a walk up window and outdoor seating for warmer weather.

This soda shop is so cute! I loved the atmosphere. Food was decent and the service was fine. So many options for custom sodas, but I thought $5 was a little pricey. Maybe that’s average for the area, I was visiting, so I wasn’t sure. They do have a parking lot with free parking, although the spaces are quite small. But that seems to be typical for Nashville. Overall, its a cute place with decent food. Typical burger and fries, although they do have the impossible burger patty as a vegetarian friendly option.
