I used to live in North Richland Hills and Sushi Axiom was one of our go-to spots, they always treated us right. Even though we live a bit farther now, we still don’t mind making the drive because we know we’ll get consistently good-tasting food.
When it comes to hibachi, I usually prefer the chicken or steak. The shrimp hasn’t been my favorite in the past, as it tends to be a bit firmer than I like, but everything else has been solid. It’s always a reliable place when we’re craving good sushi or fried rice.
On our most recent visit, we tried the Dancing Eel Roll, and it instantly became one of my favorites, so good! It’s definitely something I’ll be ordering again.
Overall, Sushi Axiom remains a dependable spot we love coming back to.

Sushi Axiom is a great place for lunch. We sat right down, and were given very good, attentive service throughout. Drinks and appetizers (soft shell crab and shishito peppers sauteed with onions and garlic) were delivered promptly, and both were expertly prepared and very tasty. For my entree, the bento box was delicious, with a nice variety of sushi, nigiri and sashimi, along with soup and salad. All the fish was fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. Good quality and value for lunch, I would highly recommend this place.

My husband and I visited on a Wednesday night around 6pm. There was no wait, but plenty of people in the main seating area as well as the hibachi section. We asked for a booth and enjoyed the peaceful ambiance. When we ordered, the girl told us it was a lot of sushi for just the two of us, being foodies We weren’t too concerned. However, she was definitely right!! Everything was delicious but some rolls had a little more sauce or layers to it and filled us up quickly. We ordered the ceviche and it was very spicy. I enjoy spice, but this was too much for just me. I opted to pack it up and focus on the rolls that wouldn’t hold up well as a left over. That plan worked out well, we took home the ceviche and two simpler rolls. They were still delicious as the next day’s lunch. We also enjoyed 2 of their martinis. They were flavorful and we didn’t need a second one lol. Overall, an enjoyable dining experience we would like to repeat!

Called in asking for beef fried rice with a substitute of new York strip for the beef. Was told that is fine, asked cook temp and stated medium rare. Arrived and had my card ran, found that somehow new York strip sub for beef became “beef fried rice and Ribeye steak meal.” Was initially upset but could understand the accident, not sure how ny strip is a ribeye, definitely should’ve clarified if they were unsure. However, got to car and the “ribeye steak” was most certainly not even a ribeye. It wasn’t cooked as requested either. At least medium to medium-well. There is no fat cap or ribeye center cut, likely a chuck or a low-grade sirloin at best. Also wasn’t even provided a plastic knife or anything to eat the steak I wasn’t wanting in the first place. Fried rice was alright.

Neat place if you’ve never been here. The service was great, drinks never got empty, and our Hibachi chef was fantastic. Food was good, but even the fillet mignon was a bit tough and our rice was hard in places.
The biggest disappointment is the facility. The first thing you notice is the outdoor area, which has been severely neglected. Broken chairs, rusty tables, dead plants, trash on the ground. Inside the restaurant you see hard water stains on the water feature, rust on the metal, and the floors were extremely slick with grease. The service really carried the facility, but someone needs to walk around this place with a clipboard and address some issues. Especially with the amount you can expect to pay per person. We spent about $160 and didnt have alcohol.
Remember that 1 in ten people will tell people about their great experience. 9 in 10 people will share a bad experience and never with the people who can fix it. My 2 cents.

I have also loved coming to Sushi Axion for the last 4 years now! I always have great service & food is amazing. This is my favorite place to go for date nights with my hubby.
It has been a while since we have been here and now we have a 1 year old with us! Still amazing service/food & BIG shoutout to Uncle Sam, he was hilarious, bas great communication & we can tell he loves his job! He is very kind.

Hats off to the sushi chefs! Beautiful and thoughtful craftsmanship of sushi rolls. I was impressed with the art work on the plating. The sushi tasted just as amazing as it looked. Was super fresh! Of course, this place does need a face lift outdoors.
