I recently visited this Mexican restaurant and overall had a really great experience. The food was flavorful, fresh, and came out quickly, and the atmosphere felt lively and welcoming.
Our server, Elizabeth, did a fantastic job. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was running smoothly at our table. She checked in at the right times, had a great attitude, and made us feel genuinely taken care of. Service like that really makes a difference.
The only downside was that they didn’t have any guacamole available that day. I was really craving it—what Mexican restaurant doesn’t have guacamole? Still, Elizabeth apologized and handled it professionally, and it was clear that it wasn’t her fault.
Aside from that small hiccup, everything else was wonderful. I’d definitely come back and hope they have guacamole next time!

Visiting Gainesville for the first time and was recommended Burrito Factory. The burritos are MASSIVE! I really enjoyed the burrito verde (it was like a Philly cheesesteak!) and the atmosphere is really nice. Perfect for a date night!

I have been here before and actually had a good experience. Today unfortunately was not great. The floor is sticky. Our food and drinks took a long time to come out. Ordered queso to come with my burrito which came out with appetizer instead and was cold. Food at the table came at different times and the plate that took the longest to come was missing 3 out of the 4 proteins. Asked for a to go container which came with food debris inside. Went to the bar to ask for another one and was told they would bring it shortly. Waited 5 minutes more then left without the leftover. The only good thing was that our server was kind and understanding but the ball was definitely dropped today.

Came with my daughter and son in law. They ate here before and had a great experience. My visit was not great. The long island iced tea tasted like too much lemon in it. I ordered Alhambre which is supposed to come with chicken, steak, shrimp, chorizo on top of rice. My plate came with only steak, I pointed it out to waiter and was going to get me missing ingredients on the side, but we had already waited over 40 mins. For food to arrive. If I waited for the other ingredients my rice would be cold. Service was slow, but our waiter was tending the bar and cleaning tables too.

I came in on a Tuesday night, around 9pm during spring break. It was mellow, maybe 4 tables taken and some customers at the bar. Service was great, the food was amazing, and I drank probably one of the best bloody Mary’s I’ve had in years! I ordered the carnitas, awesome portion size for the price, and the tortillas were so good, I felt I could’ve eaten a stack of them! Their hot sauce made there is spicy, though I enjoyed the flavor of their chile habanero sauce so I put some of both on every carnita. Their refried beans are amazing as well! All around, great everything, and looking forward to coming back and hope to take advantage of their taco Tuesday!

I bought three tacos and a beer for ten bucks. That’s a good deal in today’s exonomy for a place that looks and feels like it would be a little higher on the economic scale. The people are great to talk to and the vibe is a place to chill that no one has discovered yet. I was happy to just hang out there if that is what I wanted to do. My goal at the time though, was to eat and I was super happy about what I ate. Soft and flavored flour tortillas, a great combo of seasoning and veggies, with a great seasoned carne. I’m not a fan of carne asada texture, but I loved the taste and ignored the slightly chewy steak. No offense, I just don’t like carne texture. If you do, Try These Tacos! Nothing was disappointing about my time here, and the others I was with agree!

Let me start by saying, the food is pretty good but we felt there wasn’t much meat in the fajitas plate. We were literally the only in house customers when we visited and still had to flag someone down to help us throughout our meal. We sat outside because inside felt like a sauna. I’m glad we gave this place a try but we will probably not be back.

We usually have Mexican food at another restaurant in Gainesville, but this is closer to our house, and they were open on Memorial day so we gave it a try. I had the California burrito with steak, and my wife had the Chile Verde with pork. The food was excellent. The pork was exceptionally tender and flavorful, and the refried beans were the best I have ever tasted. The Verde sauce was perfect. The steak in my burrito was very tasty, and the Queso on top really added to the presentation and flavor. Ricardo was our server, and our service was exceptional. He checked on us frequently, and was knowledgeable about the food and drinks. This is now our new favorite Mexican Restaurant in Gainesville!
