This is the second time we have been here for dinner. The first time was acceptable. Unfortunately this time was a disappointment. When we arrived there were only approximately six tables with patrons. Our waitress told us she was fairly new and it was apparent. One of our companions asked what type of rum they had and the waitress couldn’t answer. Our companion had to go up to the bar to see for himself. Once the drink order was taken it took longer than normal for drinks to arrive. However, drinks came out one at a time. My order was a glass of wine and never arrived. When I asked to speak to a manager, he apologized and said the bar was backed up. Again the restaurant was maybe 25% full. My glass of wine finally arrived. When I inquired about a ribeye steak price because the menu said “market price”, the waitress said they charge by the ounce and didn’t know the price. Once our food arrived it was flavorful. I’m not blaming our waitress for her failure, but it was apparent management didn’t properly train her.

Passing through and stopped here for dinner and a couple drinks before going on our bear hunt nearby. This place is beautiful. The woodwork was amazing. The staff was very friendly and gave us a tour while we waited for our food. It just so happened it was opening night. We weren’t dressed appropriately, but we got in before reservations hit. I’d recommend to anyone wanting good food, great drink selections and friendly people.
