Cool happy hour. Been a while since I’ve been… brought a new friend. Whatever those fries were with pork and togorashi sauce was bomb! Service was attentive… cozy comfortable spot with craft cocktails.

We stopped into Windsor after a big show downtown because friends had heard good things. They were able to seat our group of seven, which was convenient. We ordered and then waited for our food; when it arrived, it was solid but very standard American fare—burgers, ribs, the usual. For the price point, the flavors and presentation felt pretty generic rather than memorable or refined. The dining room has an old pub-style feel—cozy enough, if a touch dated. There’s also an attached ice cream parlor; the ice cream was just okay. Good for a casual bite with a larger group, but not the spot if you’re chasing something unique.

I’ve been to Windsor several times over the years and the food and drinks are consistently delicious. Last night was particularly outstanding. We had a large party and were seated on the patio at a great table. It was a chilly evening and the overhead heaters worked great to keep us comfortable. The fish sandwich, cheese fondue, burgers, pork sandwich, and other entrees were excellent. The food and cocktails are very generous portions for a reasonable price point in this area.
While all of that was fabulous, what really made this a 5 star experience was our server, Lafia (I’m sorry if the spelling is not correct). She is like sunshine. Amazing personality, and truly unforgettable with her warmth and genuine care for our group. She took each of our orders (13 people), then went around the table one by one to confirm each order for accuracy. That is above and beyond service! She checked in with us frequently and was quick to provide anything we requested. She also threw in an extra scoop of ice cream for the birthday girl to make sure everything was just right with the sundae that she wanted. She is a gem and we will request to sit at one of her tables when we go back – hopefully very soon!!! Thank you Lafia!

If you are looking for a hot spot that has a laid back decor, awesome staff with amazing food and drinks, this is your spot! Me and my great friend shared fish and chips that were divine with crispy fish and perfectly done fries. Chips and deviled egg dip that was delicious with crispy chips! Loaded chips that had cheese, pulled pork and amazing spice from the ancho chiles. The Pork sandwich on the burger menu was awesomely seasoned and a bit smokey. But the surprise was the the beautifully crafted Mac and cheese with a seasoned topp that was simply mouthwatering amazing I will definitely be going back for more.

The happy hour drink specials for $6 includes some amazing cocktails. No. 17 & No. 88 I highly recommend. I also took home the fattoush salad to eat the next day and it was still crisp and delicious.

HAPPY HOUR UNTIL 5PM…. Yes you read that right. The server was super friendly and very attentive to our table. And the food… hands down on the FOOD everything was DELICIOUS, and the drinks were so on point very good. I will be back to try more items on their menu.

The fish was flavorless, and the BBQ ribs were undercooked. The batter the fish was fried in looked and tasted awful. The sausage slices from our appetizer plate were just as bad tasting. My wife liked the fish and ate it. Our server was fantastic. He was apologetic and removed the fish and ribs from the bill. No condescending attitude, no irritating words from him. I tipped him an extra $20 in cash on our way out he was so understanding. If we go back, I’ll definitely know what not to order.

Cute looking but the food was bad. The chefs special was a chicken breast that tasted liked a frozen breast with sweet baby rays on top and rice and greens under. Good drinks. Cute interior. Good music. Forgettable food.
