I was traveling through from Mississippi and decided to stop in — and I’m so glad I did! The fish & chips were absolutely perfect — crispy, golden batter and flaky fish cooked just right. The craft beer selection was top-notch, with plenty of local brews and unique choices that made it hard to pick just one.
The servers were friendly and welcoming, and the bartenders really knew their craft — offering great recommendations and keeping the good vibes going all night. It’s rare to find a place that makes you feel like a regular the first time you walk in.
Plus, being open late was a huge bonus after a long day on the road. Great food, great drinks, and even better people — definitely worth the stop!

Hundreds of beers from around the world. Plus, their food is delicious! Mcnellies is always a great time! They do love music upstairs on certain days of the week, and throw one hell of a Saint Patrick’s Day Block Party! Highly recommend.

Been here twice and the first time was significantly better. I’d recommend the fish and chips. My fiancée liked her Turkey burger more than the chicken wrap. We wouldn’t get the soft pretzel again. I’d suggest downloading the app if you enjoy the place because they do offer discounts. Overall we’ll probably be back. It’s probably the best place in town to try new beers from all over the world.

I loved this place. I ordered Fish and Chips, Breakfast jumble, Chips and Queso and meatloaf sandwich. I loved everything. The beer selection is AWESOME!! I tried a couple of them. I am going to be a regular customer. Rarely do I get to try a place where service and food both are great.

Went to mcnellies for the first time last Saturday evening and I’m really glad that I did! They have an amazing selection of beers from all over and I ordered the mcnellies charburger and it was so good! The burger was cooked to the correct temperature that I had asked for and I could tell that they have good, quality meat. The bartender, Jaycie, was extremely knowledgeable in her craft and so incredibly kind. She made sure to make me feel very welcomed even though she was busy and had a great attitude! I will definitely be back on a Saturday evening!

What a cute little place. We showed up for lunch. With the kids and didn’t know had to be over 21 to sit on ground level. So the sweet waitress told us to head up stairs. Which was even better. Loved the lay out of twisted and turns. Food was delicious. We ordered mostly on the burger list. And everyone was very pleased with their choices. Mom ordered a little cocktail to try as well. 5 o’clock somewhere.

Great place, but … I’ve had some OK burgers here and decent fish and chips. First, the service. I sat down and said hello to the bartender. He said nothing. A minute later he brought a menu and asked if I knew what I wanted. I placed my order. My food was brought out. I ate. Noone said a word to me. When I pushed my plate forward, the bartender collected it and dropped off my bill. Still not a word said. I paid my bill, no words exchanged. Not thank you, no how was everything, nothing. Today I tried the BLT that was on special and the parmesan fries. The fries seem to have sat a while. The cheese just fell off in a solid chunk when picking up a fry, none of it stuck to them and they weren’t very hot. The real sad part is the BLT. Very fatty, chewy bacon but only in the middle bites of the sandwich. Half the bread could be removed without touching any bacon. Tomato was so thin and low quality it wasnt noticeable, the piece seen in the cut sandwich was the onoy tomato on that half, basically a scrap of tomato. The pepper mayo excited me, but was near liquid its so runny and leaves nothing to coat the bread or add flavor. The BLT is basically buttered toast with undercooked bacon and some wilted lettuce.

By far my favorite bar in the Midtown area! Has everything you could want. Great bartenders, TVs, outside patio, views, multiple levels, and good food and drinks. Order the Spinach Artichoke dip and you won’t be upset! It’s a local hangout and is very welcoming. This place deserves all the hype it gets and is always my go to spot if there is a game or event happening. They also have events during the week you can go to like Singo/Trivia. Highly recommend A+++
