Excellent experience.
The filet mignon was absolutely delicious, and the sauce was exquisite, truly the highlight of the dish. The meat cooked medium well had a perfect texture and outstanding flavor.
The service was very good, but I especially want to highlight the server who attended us. When serving the pasta with cheese, she explained in detail the history of the cheese wheel, including its two year fermentation and aging process. She shared valuable information about the dish and the cheese we were enjoying.
A 100 for her. Definitely a place we will return to.

We had a last minute change in our schedule over a holiday (Valentines Day) and we were able to get a table at Divieto in about an hour. We were very grateful that we were able to be put on a list for the evening.
The food was delicious! We tried salads and different pasta meals, everything that we ordered was great. Love the outdoor space here as well. We’ll be back when we are in the area again!

I recently visited this fine Italian restaurant, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The vibe was warm and inviting, with excellent background music and a large selection of wine to choose from.
The reservation process was quick and easy—even though it’s season (and everyone in SWFL knows what that means!), the place was packed yet the service remained fast and consistent.
Our server, Alex, was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. We didn’t even look at the menu; instead, we asked for his recommendations based on the most popular dishes and guest favorites. From drinks and appetizers to the main course and dessert, he guided us perfectly through the entire dining experience.
“The Ball of Cheese” is an absolute must-try! The cheese is so soft and creamy, it practically melts in your mouth. And a big shoutout to our cheese girl—she was amazing! She prepared our dinner right in front of us inside the cheese ball, which made the whole experience even more special.
We also met Mr. Isdel, the manager He was extremely friendly and approachable, stopping by several tables to make sure everyone was happy with their meals and service.
Overall experience: 10/10 – Excellent!
This place is a must-visit if you’re ever near Estero, FL.

I can’t say enough good things about our visit. The food was exceptional—some of the best Italian I’ve had in a long time. But the real star of the show was our server, Sophia. Her service was impeccable. She was genuinely kind, incredibly efficient, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable time. Staff like Sophia are what set a great restaurant apart from a good one. Highly recommend Divieto Ristorante.

Food here is delicious, if you do come here you must try the bruschetta for your appetizer, it’s such a refreshing yet filling appetizer. Food was delicious, cheese wheel is a must! Server was very attentive and great. Hostess and manager were very rude. I tried to make reservation and refused. Instead I went two hours before to be seated! Birthday celebration and asked for a table for 10. They did not want to accommodate. I had to request tables to be put together. They would rather us leave!

Party of four, three of the meals were great, one was pretty bad. (Don’t order the meatballs.) Service was spotty, we waited for a lot of things and couldn’t ever find our server, but when he was there, he was very friendly. (It took more than 10 mins after we were seated to see a server at all, and 10 more to get drinks.) The promised bread was never brought, which was disappointing. Desserts were delicious.
